Daye is really reminiscent of Anthony Randolph in 08 and Kevin Durant in 07- both those guys turned out ok.

But they were much better prospects than Daye is. Randolph was viewed as a tremendous raw talent, and Durant was a consensus top 2 pick.

Ofcourse Durant is a rare rare talent but his body type isn't hindering him much because Durant is primarily a shooter, obviously Daye wont be anywhere close to KD, but I don't think his body type makes him a bust either. Also, there was a time that Daye was a projected top 5 pick before his knee injury, he was even in the discussion as a lotto pick in 08 if he declared, I'd say he's the same level prospect as Randolph was in 08.

daye was a better 3 point shooter in college but a worse rebounder and overall scorer
