He was the first to even mention the rumor anywhere. Be grateful you heard it here first.

Not that I doubt the guy, but no he wasn't. Yahoo/Woj had it up like the night before. The same night that IHG said Amare and Nash wouldn't be traded, and that Chandler was heading to Phoenix.

Not saying he isn't legit, but people should be allowed some skepticism. I mean, the plans he reported as essentially done took a 180 in a matter of hours.

This is what I don't get. Do you doubters SERIOUSLY think a GM doesn't change his mind?

As far as IHG and his souce were concerned, what he posted WAS their thinking AT THE TIME. You even hear Griffin etc say they were mixed about plans, uncertain on this and that. Things change. IHG reported it like a play by play and all these doubters have seemingly chased off the guy who gave us LIVE and on the ball commentary. What a joke

Now if it was a trade restriction like reacquiring a player you traded before the period is over, then the talks have to be secretive and are NOT allowed. Does that answer your question?

Yes. Thanks.

Not the answer I was hoping for (I'm "go" on the deal).

Because the Suns draft room erupted with cheers on the selection of Curry, it's clear there was a deal in the works. If you can't even comment on a trade such as this, all team comments would be meaningless. It seems now that GS and PHX comments have more weight. I still don't think the deal is dead, but I'll guess Amare won't be very cooperative, Warriors will grow to like Curry more and the cool trade will fade away before we even get to THE DATE.

Once more have to applaud IHG. Dude couldn't have given us anymore than he did on this trade. It was imposssible to complete yesterday and is a work in (hopefully) progress.

Correction:

Beans is slated to make $9mil and the price doesn't increase every year. that price is consistent through out the contract. which makes it a paletable contract for a starting C that double dips and is still young and lead leader in field goal pct.

I think the reason the trade was on hold till July was Bean's contract doesn't get affective ( pay ) till july and when that becomes effective will make the MONEY'S work.
