Whilst I think our medical team does wonders, I am not sure that is entirely true. In his last season in Orlando he missed 17 games. Which 3 of IIRC were due personal reasons (his Grandmother passed), 4 were due to a broken pinkie finger, 4 were due to a bruised shin and the remaining 6 were do to the Magic not allowing him to play in most back to back scenarios.
Oh yeah and if you want to go back further, in 05-06 he had a sports hernia, which by all reports the only way to prevent further injury was to rest so there wasn't much a medical staff could have done. And in 04-05 he only missed 15 games and was an All-Star.
