If we sign Frye/Trade for Chandler

Post#1 » by navysully » Sat Jul 4, 2009 9:45 pm

Hey guys, I am new here. Long time reader, finally decided to contribute. I have been a Suns fan for a VERY long time now.

In my opinion, if we sign Frye and trade for Chandler this will be the best front court the Suns have EVER had. Up front would be Amare, Chandler, Frye, Clark, and Lou. With those 5, we can be a very flexible team and offer our opponents lots of different looks. This will give us unprecidented depth in the front court that I can never remember having. I would absolutely love if these two moves happen. I was thinking we were going to rebuild, but these moves make us ultra competetive.

I particularly love if Frye signs. He went to St. Mary's and played for Arizona. Always a good thing when you get a hometowner playing at home again :)

Just my thoughts. What do you guys think?

In that first group... I consider JJ as more of a backcourt player, so didn't consider that.

KT, Amare, and Marion was indeed good... can't argue there.

3rd group. I never liked Diaw. I always considered him an offensive liability. You remember how many jumpers he missed? I was always calling for him to get off the court, lol.

With Hill, again, I consider him part of the backcourt.

Barkley was the man. Favorite player ever. But West, while a stand up man, didn't have the talent like our new guys do. Ceballos was amazing. Most underrated Suns player ever. But Dumas, while showing flashes of brilliance was both inconsistant and a head case.

I still think this potential team would be absolutely amazing. Too bad San Antonio and LA got that much better!

i think also that in terms of the 5 we would have up front. we could go big with clark, amare, tc.

we could spread the floor with duds, amare, frye

we could go hustle with duds, clark, lou/lopez

we could go orthodox with hill, amare, TC

or small with J rich (guard), hill/duds/(possibly clark), amare

with our froncourt depth we would be able to show the opposition many different looks and create lots of matchup problems

Yeah, you can NEVER go wrong with an all white front court! hahaha (I'm white - not trying to sound racist... lol)

Speaking of all white front-courts wasn't Don Maclean on that 99' Suns team? How the hell did we win 50 games that year????
