When the news broke....I threw up a little bit in my mouth just at the thought of Marion wearing a Dallas jersey.

I guess it's cause the balance of the universe felt right with a Suns Marion dunking over Dirk but now....teammates? Disgusting

Phx is falling into the nba abyss right now. EVERY team around us improving and strengthening. Of course money is the primary constraint which doesnt help since our owner is synonymous with cheapness. At least we can still kick Sacramento's ass.

Shawn played very well for TO last year - definitely not washed up, but not worth $8mil for 5 years given what other players are getting.
matrix scored with this deal - good for him

Unless we need to beat them on a home-and-home and lose like three months ago.

I love that dunk! I will hate to watch him wearing a Dallas uni. Good luck to you Shawn, except for 4 games out of the year.

If Jason Terry wasn't a Maverick i'd hate them more than the Lakers

The Suns are not on BCs mind. If anything, why would he want to burn a bridge, when perhaps the Suns could be a valuable trading partner in the future.

Can't believe it has been 10 years since they were together in PHX. I remember Kidd goading PHX when we made the Marbury trade that he would help NJ get Marion because he was becoming a free agent.

Well 10 yrs later you got your wish Kidd. They always did make a good combo but we'll see how they go without the athleticism they had as youngsters.

The most disappointing thing about Marion was that he was just being foolish to think he could get a massive contract when he was with us. That Shaq trade was horrible for both us and him unfortunately. Anyway, he got more then what I expected him to so good luck to him. Dallas is looking good. They've got some very flexible pieces in their puzzle. A good coach could take them a long way.

Great interview with Marion. When asked if he would have signed here if the Dallas thing didn't go through he said that Phoenix NEVER contacted him and wouldn't answer his calls.

With Sarver and Kerr and the reigns I wouldn't doubt it's true.

Marion "I understand their office has to make money but I feel sad for the Phoenix fans."

What a classy guy had nothing but nice things to say about suns fans.
