History makes me agree with that top 8 teams, but Lac, and Okc, scare me. Oklahoma scares me, they have a very young and talented, VERY talented team. They could suprise us this year. And the Clippers will be better than last year. Barron Davis wont have 2 bad years in a row, and they will also be healthy going into this year, they also have some young talent on that team. So Okc, and the Lac. are not locks for bottom of the barrell.

The West is going to be very competitive this year for sure. There are A LOT of talented teams... The Suns, depending on league injuries could go anywhere from 4th to 10th place in the west. You never really know.

They look strong on paper but i just assume they will find a way to suck. I'm confident of that - and if they do play well, Sterling will bollocks things up somehow.

My locks: Lakers, Spurs, Nuggets, Blazers, Mavericks, Hornets, Jazz if they keep Boozer
Competing for a spot(not necessarily the last one): Suns, Clippers, Thunder
Bottom: Rockets(injuries), Kings(suck), Warriors(suck), Memphis(suck), Wolves(too young)

top 4 teams in the West: Lakers, Denver, Dallas, Spurs. the remaining 4 playoffs spots should be an interesting race.

I imagine we will make it there, the top 8 teams in the west are pretty clear to me now that Houston lost Yao and Artest. Unless a surpise pops up or T-Mac visits a fountain of youth I'm pretty sure the top eight will be SA, LAL, UT, POR, DAL, PHX, DEN, NO. The order of the top eight should be the interesting thing to watch.

I dont see Anyone other than Houston being all that competitive. then again Injuries could happen to any team and someone else could creep in. Don't see it happening though... the bottom 6 teams are just way behind the top 9.

god i hope we can stay healthy next season. if there's any serious injuries we'll be looking back on last season with nostalgia.

I could be in a Turkish prison and I still wouldn't look back on last season with nostalgia.

This team has a nice make to it. If they could get Stat to play some dam D then this team would 5-6 team, but if not then 7-8th seed. The top 4 seeds are locked, 3 of them being Lakers, Spurs, Mavs, and the Nuggets would get the 4th spot. I'm glad the SSOL is back. I look forward to seein the Suns in the post season again. I want you guys to get the 8th seed tho, because I really want to send you guys home and it would make for a very good series too. You have two of the top offences giving it all they got. I love high scoring games. I know that getting into a scoring match with the Suns is a bad thing, but what the hell. I look forward to seeing you guys make the playoffs. WE need other teams to help rep our division. best of luck

we can make it but if rolo is gonna be our starting center then he's gonna have to man up and play w/ a chip on his shoulder since he was being criticized by shaq last year.
theres no such thing as defense in phoenix.
