^what a joke.

You guys honestly see no value in him? The guy hits 3s in his sleep and would be a great mentor to Dragic as a bigger PG...He could be the Scott Williams type old player/assistant coach...I'd trade Tucker for him in a second

For Tucker, OK.

I think Brent and Dan Majerle should fight for the final roster spot ( 2 men enter, one man leave), i really dont know who would win. We already have a pseudo player coach. Both should be retired.

Thank you.
And his range is unbelievable. He hits threes from half court. Him and Nash could both mentor Dragic.
Everyone is so stuck on Sasha like we're gonna get much value in return for him, but really, nobody has taken the bait to acquire him, so obviously his contract isn't that important to other teams. I think Barry and Cook are both versatile players that the Suns would be interested in. But again, I don't see the Rockets trading any players within the conference, even though Barry isn't much of a game changer.

Majerle would wipe the floor with Barry.

You ever watch the two play?

Barry and Nash have two completely different styles. Barry can teach Dragic things that Nash cannot, Nash can teach Dragic things Barry cannot. Brent Barry has a ring. Nash does not.
Tell me a center that is being shopped right now..?
More importantly, tell me a center that is being shopped right now that can contribute to the Suns team? The only thing we are gonna get is an insurance policy on a big, the Suns are set on their roster and their rotation guys. But guys like Brent Barry and Brian Cook should help in practice and eventually we'll find a use for both on the court.

In that regard, yeah - ok. But he really looked done to me that last couple years - as a mentor though, yeah

Still rather see a defensive big

im not saying there is a certain center on the block, i am saying cut it with trying to add players that we don't need to this team.

also, just to defend myself, i am not saying barry isnt worth much, i am saying we dont need him. and the rockets dont need tucker OR pavs.

what can barry teach drgic that nash can't? halfcourt shots?

also, we have dan majerle. he is dragic's primary mentor, why would we waste a roster spot on brent barry?

At this point, I'd be happy to acquire any veteran player just so Sarver can pretend like he is trying to build a better team. I like our group of bigs we have (Amare, Lopez, Amundson, Frye, Clark) and I'd rather see Kerr get us a versatile SG that can also play PG that wouldn't mind limited playing time.

So perfect, Dan Majerle, Steve Nash, and Brent Barry can all give Dragic some advice, that would sure bring him up to starter quality.

Frankly, I'd be okay with R Barry. While we're at it, have him bring Nate Thurmond

If by some miracle Sarver decides to drop some coin to bring in a player on a minimum contract, it has to be a C. We don't need Barry, we need a C.

i'm not even going to reply about you placing earl clark under "our bigs", b/c i think i already made a topic about that, as i soundly diagree.

what is the point of wasting money to get barry to have three mentors for dragic? what does barry know about being a starter in this league for an extensive period of time, and what can he POSSIBLY teach dragic that majerle and nash, two of the greatest guards EVER to play for this orginization cannot teach him?

also, i cannot argue further on this point, b/c it is simply opinion, but i am NOT happy with our frontcourt...

Thanks - Kerrsed did a bangup job on it, didn't he?

I owe the Hawk. I could never palm the ball but I did pretty much perfect his finger roll, which was quite a sight for a 5'9" guard coming across the lane. I can only think that opposing players were so stunned they couldn't react, stupefied by the madness of it. I swear to god it was good for 4-6 points a game. I practiced it by the hour and got so I could fling it up off the dribble .... ridiculous
