When will the team waive Pavlovic now that the NBA has approved the buyout?

Players don't get bought out and then waived. Players are waived as a part of a buyout. That's........pretty much what they are, actually.

Pavlovic sucked... good thing to cut dead weight. Our team will be competing for the Championship this year so we need to focus on winning, not on some lame-ass backup guard.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

We do need a defensive specialist, how about just:

Jason Richardson and Alando Tucker

to OKC for

Thabo Sefolosha, Kyle Weaver and Etan Thomas

We get a great defender who picks up a lot of minutes at the 2 and 3 spots and acts as a glue guy, also would be HUGE if we hit the playoffs.

We get a young SG to pair with Barbs going forward, and lose Jrich's contract at SG

We get a huge expiring and veteran big in Etan Thomas.

OKC pairs JRich with Durant in the backcourt which improves their scoring outlook and is a plus for the development of Westbrook's passing game.

I'd do it. I like Sefolosha's game. Thomas is a banger when he's healthy, he'd be good for Amare.

Nobody is willing to take on JRich though, it's probably a no-go. OKC has too much talent on a very low payroll and they will continue to get better. No reason for them to pick up an aging SG with a big contract.

With Westbrook and Durant (chuckers) wouldnt it be a good idea for them to keep someone who can play defense, rather than add another chucker. Dont get me wrong, id take the trade, but i want to see Wade Amare and Nash play together.

PG - Nash (13.1) / Dragic (2)
SG - Wade (20) / Barbosa (6.6)
SF - Hill (3) / Dudley (1.3)
PF - Frye (2) / Clark (1.8)
C - Stoudemire (16.4) / Lopez (2)

That gets you there, $68.2 million. You would have to do a S&T with Richardson going to Miami plus picks and such. Amare would still be on the last year of his contract (assuming we signed an extension with him & he didn't bolt)

Touche'.

I was about to say you're leaving yourself pretty thin beyond those 3 guys, but then I realized wait a minute, that's our roster..with Wade instead of Rich. Depressing.

I like our roster... with Wade it'd be fantastic! We would have to get rid of JRich's and probably another contract then not pick up any of our team options to be able to afford him.

lol man....I don't know why anybody would choose to come to this franchise when better owners + better teams are calling, but it sure would be nice if we could land someone in 2010. Of course, with Nash's extension, Rich's contract and Amare's whatever-the-hell-is-going-on, our chances of doing that are very, very slim.
