Dr. Nash

Post#1 » by Downtown » Sat Sep 19, 2009 1:39 pm

Steve Nash received an honorary doctorate law degree yesterday from the University of Victoria, where he grew up. You can google search it( it was on Global TV) and read the whole article. I watched it on the news and he was extremely classy in the manner in which he spoke and accepted the honor.

You can tell where he gets his class though. When they interviewed his parents his dad said although Steve is a great basketball player now he will be a great human being for alot longer.

Other than the honor and the title, do these honorary degrees give you anything else? I've always wondered that.
