$25,000 For NBA Player To Come To Your Birthday Party

Post#1 » by TheMan44 » Tue Oct 20, 2009 12:05 am

Apparently if you buy $25,000 seats at a Nets game, you can have your choice of any single Nets player come visit your home or office for one hour for your birthday. From ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4578446).

I think Suns should do this. I'd love to invite Taylor Griffin to my party for an hour.

If TGriff does 10 parties he gets his contract guaranteed. True story.

I would throw my party at a bar or club, invite J-Rich, and then have him drive me home.

If it's a dinner party, I'd invite Nash or Hill. They would class up the place a ton just by being around.

NF33 would probably invite Hill even if there's no party just so he could marvel in his presence.

He probably already has a list of questions typed out, folded up in his wallet

MVF probably has the same for Nash, but questions along the lines of: Can you trade yourself for a bag of peanuts? And do the Suns a favor by asking for a 2nd rounder with that. KTHXBYE!

Hahaha. I think the only way Taylor Griff gets his contract guaranteed is if he accepts being in the backseat of JRich's car after the party.

Dude seriously needs to shave the dome. The balding look he's got going on....no thanks.

It'd be a tossup between Nash/Hill/Barbosa/Amare for me. I've seen Amare around a few times so I think I'd pass on him. Nash/Hill would be amazing since they're both legends...but I have this feeling that Barbosa would make any part 230984x better.

It's always good to have one or two foreigners at a party. Makes things more interesting. Barbs would be cool.
