Hill will NOT go to Orlando. I've been to enough sporting events, NBA or not, and I've never seen an opposing player booed more than he was.

They were screaming BAD things at him...

Nah just Sarver. Kerr has done fine minus the Porter hire.

Really??? WOW! :o

From what i read on the Orlando board, they had nothing but good things to say and wished him well in Phoenix. Too bad the Pistons suck, would be nice to see him re-join them if they were contenders. I guess i have always had a thing for great players returning to their first team at the end of their career.

You know what's frustrating? The suns front office said that paying for rookies who wouldn't contribute to a title contending team would be a waste of money so rather than drafting them set yourself up for the future with guys like rondo, iguodala, fernandez etc we decided to pocket 3 million and who did we spend that on?

Marcus banks!!

I mean he was the second option after John Salmons spurned us at the last second...man wish we had him here...but still marcus banks??? as keyshawn johnson would say..

c'mon man!!!

Yeah I remember Duhhhtoni said he wasn't going to play Rondo or something along the lines of he's here to win and not develop rookies. Of course that gave Sarver the green light to sell that pick...not a huge Rondo fan but he would have been good trade bait chances are though he never would have played and been declared a bust because he has no jumpshot. I'm just glad Duhtoni is gone, that guy was the worst coach and GM in the league. Not that Gentry is any better but at least he's better than Duhtoni.

I agree D'antoni was shortminded but not the worst coach in the league that's an overreaction to the fact that he brought us a form of basketball that in some ways was easily the elite form of basketball in the NBA and was unparalled. Therefore, we decided irrationally that we should be champions and because Mik'es flaws got in the way as a coach in our overall quest to become champions we got really angry with him. He was not as good a coach as everyone thinks but he was a solid one who instilled a brand of basketball that is emulated today throughout several teams in the league.

Also, Gentry is not a bad coach at all. He has the offensive mindset of D'antoni, an actual bench, he has faith in Dragic, he's not afraid to use Earl Clark sometimes which is great for a 1st round rookie with an inconsistent jumper, and he's tough on the players but a players coach. Fan of gentry.

Our big mistake was letting Joe johnson go signing Q to that extension and not keeping iguodala. I'd love to have a core of johnson iguodala and stoudemire

Amare is a Stud, plain and simple. He is one of my all time favorite players. I would love to keep him (and i think he deserves Max money), but Sarver simply wont pay him the max, and that is what he is looking for. He deserves it, (so why not go for it) and he will get it, just from a smarter team. I have always said no mater what we do (blow up the team, ect.) that we should build around Sun Tzu! But i am not the FO, there for we are speculating on what will/could be done. :D

I would love to keep Amare around, especially since he seems to be getting taking on some leadership qualities and seems to be aggressive on the boards and at least trying defensively.

However, I still feel he's a $12 to $14m a year player, rather than a max player.

I think what he's saying is that Amare is actually a reptilian alien who is here to ensure the destruction of Earth on 12/21/2012.
