What I love about Dudley is how much he loves it when he makes those little hustle plays. I love how he knows his limitations and more importantly, knows his strengths.

We should definitely re-ink him ASAP before teams like LA, Orlando and Boston starts calling again.

We already picked up his option for next year, so we won't see an extension for him until next year.

Does anyone else find it ridiculously hilarious how much all of the "elite" teams are responding to the Sun's being 7-1 even after 5 road games against legit playoff/title contenders? I looked at LA's board recently, in comments on articles about us, and anywhere else possible, and all of their (LA, Boston, Orlando) fans have to belittle us like crazy just to make themselves feel less threatened by a team that wasn't supposed to be this good. I don't wanna call us title contenders, but of all the solid teams (Houston, Denver, San Antonio, Toronto, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas) I'd say we're looking the best, or close to it. Top four seed in the west is quite possible the way we're playing.

All of those teams have 1 or 2 guys they have to rely on in clutch situations. We've had someone different step up in every close game, and we've come from being down by 12, not once but twice. That's got to say a lot about our mental toughness and discipline. To pull out every close game (Orlando was not close...) says something about your team as a whole

No offense, but I don't think the "elite" teams should feel too threatened yet. We've played two elite teams, both on the road. We won a close one, and got crushed in the other. Now, beating the Celtics (probably the best team in the NBA right now) on their home floor is awesome. But our other wins aren't that impressive. The Clips & T-Wolves are terrible. Miami is decent, but wouldn't be guaranteed to make the playoffs in the West. Washington looks really bad right now, and Philly is basically a .500 team. And we're not going to keep shooting 47% from 3 for the year.

Now, having said that, I predicted playoffs before the year started, and now I think we could wind up around the 3 or 4 seed. But we're still just a paper tiger until we play some Western conference playoff teams. The double dip against NO and the Lakers will be a nice test of just how good this team actually is. Are we looking at a Top 3 team, or a Top 7 team?

Yeah that is fantastic, he is also starting to challenge the other players. Just before the second half of the Philly game I think, he went to Barbosa and said the first half defense was un acceptable and that they had to step it up...............I can't remember where I read that at, but I will look for it so you guys can see it too....
