To me, Stat was going up all delicate with little floaters and finger rolls from 1 ft - crush that thing. Not aggressive enough

Update: so teh cops showed up, took the kid to the psych ward without incident and I was there with him for 5+ hours before he was admitted. Came home and watched the game on DVR

Underwhelming win. We're regressing defensively, which is not a good thing. Just ugly all around - a YMCA game

You mean, "we are who they thought we were"?

Who'd a thunk -

Well, we got time to make some improvements. I hope we do - this can be a very special team i think.

Frye fits in really well. It's too bad he's not more of an impact defender.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to knock him, per se, I just wish he was more of a useful defender. Someone who you couldn't exploit in the post and who had more of an impact as a team defender.

The Suns' style of ball really sinks or swims based on the caliber of its center in a sense. I mean, they came close in previous seasons, but you really need an active, mobile center. Even if he's not a big-time scorer, you need a healthy-Chandler, a DAJ, Marcus Camby, etc. Or even Kurt Thomas, really, but you know what I'm saying.

Toronto tried to slow the tempo Sunday with the hope of switching everything defensively.

"The next time anybody tries to do that, I think our guys are prepared to go a little bit quicker," Gentry said. "I think we spent too much time trying to take advantage of the mismatches instead of keeping the ball moving. If we keep the ball moving, we'll find those mismatches.

Gentry confirmed my criticism on Nash not moving the ball to find Amare mismatched on Calderon downlow and took on Bargnani one-on-one himself. Luckily, Gentry is a good coach who changed in during timeout for our lucky win agaisnt the Raps.
