I really can't believe someone would not want their player to get the MVP trophy. But I don't think Nash really cares either, it is just a voted award.
As for Nash being in that company of three time MVPs, hells yes he should be in that class. Let me remind you that he is the only player to ever have 3 consecutive seasons of 50/40/90. He is in a class all by himself.
That said, maybe winning another MVP will give him some edge with the refs. The other night against LA, he was shoved around getting no calls, and then he breathes on Fisher twice and gets called for a foul. It is almost like the refs agree with the many uneducated folk that think he didn't earn the other two. So sad.
In the end, I am just glad he is on the Suns, and I hope he continues to have a great season.
