Just wanted to toss this in: I am now officially, cautiously, optimistic about Robin, because of these two quotes:

"I do think [his passion exhibited by losing his cool, once during a practice and in an empty-gym practice is] a good thing," coach Alvin Gentry said. "He has a passion and he cares about it. He's probably a bit frustrated that he hasn't been out there. There are a lot of factors. He's 7-foot. He's athletic. He can run. He can block shots. There are a whole lot of good things he can bring to the team."

"He's really going to help us big-time," Hill said. "He's a whole different dimension. He's a lot more confident than last season. He's just got to get his rhythm and timing."

I like any player that works his ass off, but particularly the confidence issue is really great to hear, if Dragic's development vis a vis confidence is any indication!

Lets hope so :-?

Seriously? Dude didn't even get 10 and 9 in college. Hell he didn't even start as TASTIC said. I honestly can't remember the last person who didn't start in college and made the NBA. Don't get me wrong I think Lopez can be a great hustle player but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

mostly agree, but russel westbrook and jrue holiday didnt start in college... probably a bad example, but you know what I mean...

man, you changed your avatar... its so unfamiliar, and I'm kindof new! :(

Come on people... If you are going to create arguments than at least due your due diligence first... Robin Lopez DID start for Stanford along side his brother. Jrue Holiday started every game his only year of colloge, and Westbrook started 34 of 39 games his final year at UCLA.
