We all want Sideshow to play well, we all want Clark to be as good as we expect - and go back to the draft thread; by the time of the draft the overwhelming majority were fully on-board with taking EC.
It's a marathon, not a spring, as the cliche goes. One game is not a career. He puts his pants on one leg at a time. We need more cowbell. Etc.

For refernce, plase see the post re: Jarron Collins "unstoppable/GOAT" based on one game stats.

2. Look at all of my posts in response to the original thread. All were on topic and then this.... I'M BEING ATTACKED!!

Man take your BS elsewhere. This sort of nonsense is what makes laker/spur/mavs fans dislike Suns fans

And I have faith in Clark, I don't have any in Lopez.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong - and I'll admit it. But so far I'm the only one out of either of us who's willing to put a sig bet on this (Lopez).

And wait, I know you're a better judge of talent? Don't put words in my mouth JMac

3. Now you are attacking me, calling my posts BS?? Why? Because I think Lopez and Clark would be great?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Hell I think JJ Redick is the best player in the NBA. But I'm not gonna go around saying people are idiots or bad judges of talent if they disagree.

And naming Dwight as the only NBA center better than Brook?

Do you follow the Suns? Better yet, the NBA? You show little to no understanding of the league, players' roles and the Suns organization in general.

I wouldn't be so harsh if you hadn't opened up against long respected posters on some ridiculous crusade.

That was three attacks on me. Then I respond, finally, and you threaten me? I'm not a child. If you are going to be a "Mod" you need to keep your bias out of the modifications. I will go to the administrators of realgm, present this entire thread and have you removed as a Mod if you allow SEVERAL people to attack me because WE disagree on a Thread being legitimate or not.

Attaching my credibility as a Suns' fan, my age, knowledge or anything is uncalled for in response to MY OPINION. I responded to all posts challenging me on why I was possible right on Lopez in a articulate and acceptable manner, then I get bombarded by "Tastic Youths," and you say nothing. I respond to one and you threaten discipline on the? You need to re-evaluate yourself Tastic.

I apologize for the rant, but I am extremely miffed! I took a lot of shots (by people, not drinking) before I got peeved and responded aggressively. Then I get blasted by Tastic. I know I am a super homer, but I believe anyone can be great until they prove otherwise and Clark and Lopez hasn't proven that. Tucker has....MY Opinion.

Mods can still have opinions as they too are fans and they have as much right to state their opinions as anyone of us.

Tastic already told posters to keep it civil when he was the one getting attacked by you when you called him out. Most of these so-called attacks are from posters who post on behalf of the people you disrespected and attacked on yourself.

You come out as being arrogant when you start a thread with the title like that, even if you put a question mark on it. What you're saying is, every single Suns fan who don't think Lopez will turn into the great center you think he'll become, is flat-out WRONG and it is PROVEN in that one game against the Wolves. Please, if you're going to start with a title like that, you're just asking for it.

Clark's moves on offense ain't smooth yet. No sign he would be better than the average SFs like Outlaw, Webster of the Blazers. I'd be glad if he turned out as good as Gomez of the Wolves. And Lopez has played only one game. Isn't that a little too early to claim he'd be as good as Amare as the sidekick to Nash?

....

We always judge his bad, but never the good things he does. I bet you are a Dragic homer. If dragic wipes is butt without getting doo doo on his hands you guys go crazy.

You called out Dantian as a dragic homer, when he did nothing but state his opinion and back it up with reason. Clearly unwarranted.

Anyone has the right to be mad at you when you put words in their mouth.

I have no issues with MVF's "crazy" opinion since he supports his opinions and never attacks anyone else even when other posters unjustly calls him out. Just as I don't have problems with anyone else as long as they can back up their opinions and don't act like they have some god-given talent to see what nobody else can.
For the sake of the future civility on the Suns board, please don't talk like you have some gift to see talent that *nobody* else has, it's condescending and you just come off as an arrogant ass.

Sorry jMac if you felt attacked by what I said, but I was on the defensive, not the offensive. As I said, the creation of this thread was epic flame bait. Why did "tastic's kids" or whatever you called them stick up for him? Because this is a forum. You need to understand that all of tyhe established posters here are just loong to uphold the freedom of opinion promised by a forum. And sure, your opinion is protected just the same. You had your say in the Lopez thread and people respected that. This thread is not a discussion thread, its an attack. This is a tightly knit community so we're not "on each others balls", many of us have been here for years and know the principles of mutual respect that keep everyone coming back here. Hopefully you'll continue to disseminate your opinions - and everyone WILL listen to them as long as you prove that you'll listen to everyone else's.

You going to apologize to all of us now? After RoLo's horrid appearance today against the Raptors?

As many have said, this thread was stupid, especially after only one game. Totally takes away from what positive we should be focusing on as our second year Center comes back for the first time this season and has a good debut.

He definitely is....

The only knock on him at the moment is, he doesnt bring it 100% every game. He will have a 20/10, then a 15/5 the next game.

But you have to factor in, that HE HAS NO perimeter help. The chuckers and rookies on the Nets team dont make him better.... he actually makes them better, because teams are setting up defenses to stop him dominating.

When Harris finally goes back to his old self, I see his consistency to improve and put up more 20/10 games night in and night out.

Not to mention he is a top notch shot blocker already.

Tim Duncan-lite!!!

JMac - I apologise, let everyone see it that am sincere in my apology for attacking your post. It's not right for me to call your post "BS" - as others have said though I am entitled to my opinion even though I am a mod, but still - sorry.
Having said that, I AM entitled to my opinion and if you're going to attack my credibility and knowledge as a Suns fan (ie you saying you have a better judge for talent? based on?), then I'm also entitled to reply to you in the same manner. If you want to report the thread, do it - I don't think either of us have said anything overly controversial and neither of us can complain about what was written towards each other.

I don't get where this "high and mighty" vein came from - I don't think I go overboard with power anywhere on this board and most people have a pretty free reign and I don't even remember the last person suspended on here (statisback, just remembered)

And the balls in the mouth thing - funny - but you ask for respect and then say immature stuff like that?

I don't wanna point out the obvious...but RoLo tonight...EEK.
