I'm talking about the and-1 where Lou reached in. No doubt Lou reached but then Dirk only began his shooting motion after Lou had pulled his hand away. No freakin' way that was a shooting foul or even continuation. NO WAY. That sent the Suns into the 4th down 7 instead of 4 and the Mavs started the 4th with the ball.

Sorry to nittpick, but shouldn't that 4 be a 6 instead??

No because the Mavs were only up 4 before Dirk hit that shot. My argument is his shot should never have counted as it happened after Lou's foul. Dirk's shot plus the free throw extended the Mavs lead from 4 to 7.
