Maybe JRich isn't the dumbest Sun after all...

JRich did somethings off the court that were dumb, but all last season he did two dumb plays, one was a foul on lebron and the other left mason open for probably the biggest shot of his life. That's just my opinion but why do you feel he is dumb?

Finally got to see the game after avoiding scores/internet/email etc for almost 24 hours.

No Jameer, No VC, so hard to crow too much about it but we looked beter than we have for a while. Nash was a monster and Stat looked at times to be full-strength - agree that he looked worse on those two late turnovers than he merited. But talk about redemption, plus that charge he took was encouraging.
Dragic was fine, even with the two TOs in a row. Stuff happens.

We were missing Barbs and JRich might as well have not been playing.

Or Lopez ... I'm losing faith that this kid can ever be anything more than five fouls to give.

To be honest, the only reason I'm against moving him now is because we're lacking big men. If we give Collins more PT and he is serviceable I'd move Lopez ASAP.

But heck, if his only value right now is 6 fouls to give, like his last couple of games, then I guess it makes no difference whether he's a big man or a guard.

have you seen collins play? he plays great defense for us! the only reason he doesn't get pt is because we are trying to develope lopez, also collins was an insurance guy so they dont feel like they need to play him.

I seen him play, but he doesn't get the PT because of Lopez is here and we want to get younger.

Yeah honestly if it looks like we are really gonna contend, and if Lopez continues to show zero IQ, put Collins out there. He is a SMART player and he's really shown up with the minutes he's gotten - a good, tall intangibles guy. I'm about ready to ditch Lopez; maybe he hasn't had long enough to prove himself but he's NEVER proven himself, except for 1, maybe 2 games in his career. He didn't start in college, he's not even as good defensively as Brook at the pro level (let alone offensively), I just don't see any proof of what his potential is in the NBA. I mean he's a guy who if you play him 20 minutes a game consistently you MIGHT eventually get 7, 7 and 2 out of him - and we're not prepared to give that to him.
