Right now Arizona is the only state in blue. Why do people still think this seriously?

It's blue 51 to 49, nothing to get too worked up about.

There are far more closed minded retards than there are open minded people with actual comprehension skills.

Still though, look at almost every state and not one is even close to 50-50...

+1 you gotta look at that total

Looks like the people of Montana give him the least credibility and don't think it will change anything.

What does this mean?

It could mean that people aren't willing to be fooled twice. If you think this sport is truly legit, you might be shocked when you hear what actually goes on behind closed doors.

Looking at the poll and the country map, every state is now a form of red.

For me, flags go off all the time, when I see a string of bad calls put together and a team that was behind catches up. Or when a team is catching up to an elite team, and all of a sudden a rash of bad calls puts the behind team out of the game.

How many games have you seen one team go to the line 20 times more than the other team? I've seen a few, and there is no way that one team was fouling that much more than the other team. It seems very clear that refs' personal feelings towards players, coaches, and owners affect games. Because of this, how can it be truly legit?

Pretty much what Tim Donaghy said in 60 minutes yesterday.

^ The thing is, he implied that he never made calls to fix games, which we all know is BS. I am implying that some games are fixed(altered) to a point, and I for one think Stern is the man behind the curtain.

I hope he writes a book. There's some quality entertainment in there after seeing the interview.

Every state is 5X% to 4X%, dont complain about a poll when it hasnt had time to get processed long enough...

horrible thread, of course his claims will affect how you watch a game. the next time your team gets a bad call youre going to think about crooked refs, anyone telling you different is lying their ass off or trying to sell you something.

I look at games exactly the same as I did before the scandal. Whats wrong with that?

Refs make bad calls intentionally and unintentionally all the time. So what? The better teams find a way to win.

Disagree.

Well, I do agree that refs make TERRIBLE calls every game. But when you're playing against an archrival and are both arguably equal talent-wise, it's hard to overcome referees that have MONEY riding on the game. That ish is orchestrated.

With that said, I'm not gonna be one to come out and say that the Suns should definitely have a ring. I will say, however, that with the fluidity of NBA organizations it is a shame to think there is a possibility that then, there, we didn't have a fair chance to prove that we COULD win a ring.

agree.

i dont doubt that refs' personalities and grudges affect the game, maybe to a degree that is too significant to be negligible. i hope the review/reprimand process becomes more transparent. i'd like to see data on the refs. %'s and such. refs, teachers and psychologists never have to meet any kind of objective standard. wtf was the point of inventing the automated computing machine if nobody uses it to improve stuff.

i feel that the suns have gotten more than their fair share of the screwjobs, but not enough to complain to anyone but my soul mate and my dog (and the realgm board). EXCEPT...the suspensions. if david stern offered to by me a beer, i would gladly accept so that i could pour it over his muppet face.

Ironic? Maybe, but it just seems to be hinting towards a plan that is already in practice.

I think it's hilarious that people are saying he has no credibility. Try betting on NBA games and see if you get anywhere close to 75-80% success.

Obviously this guy has questionable character, but his betting success has been verified by the FBI, and his success rate is far far higher than any of us could ever manage. You'd be lucky to have a 50% success rate.

People doubted Canseco's word too, and he's been right about EVERYTHING.

I think he is full of crap when he says he did not 'call' the game any different when he had money on it.

Thats a load of BS... even his betting bud acknowledges he was tired of losing and only wanted action on the games Donaghey was officiating.

His should be walking with a limp.
