OK, say GS accepts the trade i posted before (Amare/Barbosa for AR/Monte/Beans/PICK), Then look for a team that lacks a star SG that might be open to a trade . Maybe say Utah as this RealGM headline points out (http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/63425/20091215/could_jazz_package_boozer_with_pick/ . Send Jrich to Utah for Boozer/NY's 1st round pick.

Nash/Dragic/Ellis all can play the point. Since we would be short on guards, we could also play Hill at the G spot too.

Nash/Dragic
Ellis/Dragic/Tucker
Hill/Dudley/Clark
Boozer/Frye/Randolph
Beadris/Lopez/Amundson.

Now add in a 1st round pick from GS (Didnt they work a deal with NJ so GS could keep their pick this year?), and NY's 1st round pick that Utah is packaging with Boozer (according to the reports).

Even if Boozer bolts next year, we still have Frye and AR @ the PF spot, but we also have Boozers 12.5mill coming off the books so we could sign a back-up FA SG next year (Sergio Rodriguez, Mike Miller, maybe McGrady on a Grant Hill type of contract) and have the $$$ left to Keep our Draft picks (Early 1st rounders can be expensive!) AND also help pay for our unrestricted FA in 2010 (Amundson, Frye, and Hill) . :D

They aren't going to give us a their NY pick. I think outside of DWill, their pick is the most untouchable. A JRich for Booze straight up deal may work (I'm not sure if salaries match). We'll definitely need a 1st from one of the teams though.

Who cares if Amare walks. With his salary we'll just spend it on someone else. I think we can get Randolph with other players we have.

You guys realize, with this style, if Amare never went down last season, we could have made a run in the playoffs. We still have something nice with the team we have RIGHT NOW. People are so quick to trade Amare just for some bad games he's had. Let him get his rhythm together, and then we'll discuss trades in February if he isn't performing then. Without Amare, we would be nothing. Trading Amare right now, will basically say Kerr is giving up on this season.

Suns don't need to go overboard on a trade scenario.
A simple Jason Richardson for Rip Hamilton is ideal.
Nash/Dragic
Hamilton/Barbosa
Hill/Dudley
Amare/Amundson
Frye/Lopez

Rip can handle the ball pretty well, and could probably even run point when Nash is out. IMO, this would be the best trade scenario because it wouldn't disrupt team chemistry, Nash won't cry over the loss of J-Rich like he did Bell, and is a simple swap of players. If a trade for Rip doesn't happen this year or next year, the Pistons are paying way too much for a sixth man. Hamilton is a high energy type player, something the organization is looking for.

Rip in Phnx would be cool as hell.... but for JRich ? Jeez, I think they could do better. Its just a salary shift.

If GS would be happy with Yi for Randolph, a simple three-way is possible.

Stat/Tucker/MickiMoore to NJ
Yi/Phnx #2 to GS
Battie/Najera/Hassel/AR/NJ #1 (either top 3 lotto protected or their later Dallas pick) to PHNX

Is it under valuing Stat, considering he may go for naught? This does not cripple us salary wise (we have 10 mill expiring) , gives us 2-3 solid defensive vets for competing this yr, AR and a pick. Package that pick with Barbs and move up if it is the later one.

I would think Yi would boost Ticky sales with the large Chinese market in SF... and he is a quality player who would fit into Nelson's twisted demented scheme.

NJ... I think, would be ecSTATic.

PS.... this works only if we have a hard on to get AR. I don't know if can afford to gamble on his 'potential'... but no doubts that he'd be utilized better here. I'd love to see him rumble with Nash.

Phoenix & Philly

Richardson + Clark for Igoudala

Or maybe (and I still don't know how I feel about this one)...

Stoudemire + Richardson for Igoudala + Dalembert + 2010 1st

I feel like both teams make out pretty well here. Richardson and Dalembert pretty much offset each other in terms of the price tag & contract and serve to fill the respective voids left by Igoudala and Stoudemire.

PHX shaves $5.5m in salary and gets a 2010 1st back. They then have Igoudala locked up for 5 years.

PG - Nash / Dragic
SG - Igoudala / Barbosa / Tucker
SF - Hill / Dudley / Clark / Griffin
PF - Frye / Amundson
C - Dalembert / Lopez / Collins

that Phi deal with us coming out with Speights instead of the pick would maby due. Another former U/A guy in the fold in Iggy would be cool.

Iggy would be a good big defensive 2 guard, with shooters like Nash, Dragic, Dudley, Fry, He would fit in nicely.
