Yes I hate that so much in soccer...where the flop was invented
I can't even feel those positive things said about Manu, I just can't. I think my insides would be so torn between Manu and the Suns that I would just explode.

I wouldn't buy tickets to games anymore while he had a Sun's jersey. The thought of him staining the purple and orange with his hairy armpit and vagina sweat makes me angry. I'd rather him go stink up someone else' locker room. I'm ride or die Suns fan so I'd watch. I just would stop giving the organization my money.

Heard he is going to start a school of flopping when he retires.
Derek Fisher and Raja Bell will be guest speakers

Re: Manu
Business wise, Ginobili would do wonders for the Suns.
Nash, Ginobili, Hill, Stoudemire, Frye
Thats a good balance. Although frail back court.
He flops and he "killed" the Suns when they played the Spurs, I hate what he did to the Suns but he is an impact player no doubt.
If he is the difference from being a 7th/8th seed team to becomming a legit threath then I'll do the trade.

Re: Manu
Man, gotta say I hate the guy, but there's just different kind of hates lol
I mean I hate kobe, but I gotta say, he's damn good to the point where he's flippin unbearable. If he was in a freakin different division I'd be cool with him, but man does he just scorch the suns just bout everytime they play...
but ginobili on the other hand, his style of play just goes against the 'code of honor' type players lol i mean he wins games, and it's cuz of smart plays (manipulating refs, flops etc are in fact smart plays) but it's just not the "right" way to win. I, and pretty sure lots of people as well, am just more of the if I win, it's cuz I earned it the right way kinda guy. For ginobili I guess a W is a W regardless of how it was earned and thats what I personally cant stand in an athlete, especially at the professional level

Re: Manu
What about when Ginobili is in the zone and scores 30-40 point games, looking like he is Bryant-lite... He averages about close to 30ppg against the Suns in the playoffs and is smart as heck.... yes he flops.. but Suns fans hated him because he flopped against the Suns... but when he flops for the Suns and it leads to Suns victories... then its the other fans problem.
Bottomline, Ginobili is hated by fans of other teams, but when he is on your fave team, you LOVE what he brings to the table.

True. OTOH, I'd despise Horry and Bowen even when they were on the Suns. They are dirty. That's where I really didn't get Raja when he defended his best friend Bowen who was intentionally kicking Amare's heel at the dunk and Nash's crotch, in the same series, and criticized Amare for calling Bowen dirty.

Re: Manu
Did Raja flop every once in a while? Yes, but it was different.
It's kind of like when you're in a candy shop and see a little orphan stick his hand in the candy jar when the attendant isn't looking and he pulls out a gumball. Yes it's wrong, but you're secretly happy for them.
When a morbidly obese lesbian smashes the candy shop window with a baseball bat, kills the attendant, steals the cash register and eats the orphans gumball cause she's hungry, it's not quite as heartwarming.
Do you know what I mean?

Raja was actually among the cleanest of those players mentioned. He is not dirty, never threatening opponents with injuries like Bowen, Horry, Malone and Kobe did. His flopping acts were not as theatrical like Manu's that already got several people injured including our own LB.
But you got me lost on your gumball story.

Re: Manu
Lol...now here's a deep question? Who here would root for the Suns if we did that trade? I could never give up the Suns but I may not watch as many games if he were on the team.
I had no problem embracing Dennis Johnson... now that greezy Manu... ehhh...
sure
OTOH, I'd despise Horry and Bowen even when they were on the Suns.
Horry was here..... long enough to toss a face towel on Ainge and then get a 3 ring reward in LA. JackAzz

Re: Manu
I hated Bell when he was on DAL/UTA, as soon as he came here he showed his worth and his heart etc over-rid any ill-will I had as an NBA fan toward him
Only Horry and Bowen would test that allegiance to the Suns....oh, and Nate Robinson, Kenyon Martin, Sasha Vujacic and Mikki Moore of course. They're on my To Kill list
