That's where we differ. With Amare as one part of building block, it's a lot easier to form a winner/contender that with 2 Lees, say Lee and LB for the same salary. With your proposal, there is no hope at all for foreseeable time.[/quote]
Amare has had his chance to prove hes the man. Hes not and never will be. Will david lee? NO! he knows that, I know that and so does everyone else. But lee is a great roleplaying big man who knows what needs to be done. you wont hear him moan, if he doesnt get his touches..you wont ever question his hustle and determination. Best of all, lee is asking for 10m a year... amare resigned will be making an avg of what 20m a year or so. with the extra money we save from amare, and jrichs contract, we could potentially be a very big player via trade or 2011 FA.

Nash, Wade, Duds, Amare are enough to score so we'd need a big defensive presense in the paint to pertect Amare which would be Lopez. Plus our bench would be superior.
