I thought the grass was pretty green before we traded Marion, Raja and Boris.

No... the grass was short, with no rebounding, and needed to shoot exceptionally well to win, and during the playoffs would get pushed arround and lose in the first round.

That's weird, because I remember going to back to back WCFs, then the semis with that crew. Of course, when we acquired The Big Rebounder so we wouldn't get "pushed around", we A)lost in the first round, and then B)missed the playoffs entirely.

Well, the big rebounder and defender we first had was KT and we elected not to use him until it was too late.

On the bright side, I would love to do Jason Richardson for Boris Diaw!

Nash/Dragic/Augustin
Barbosa/Dudley
Hill/Diaw/Clark
Amare/Lou
Frye/Fropez/Collins

I've had this happen a lot lately - people post a link to an ESPN trade but when I click it it goes to the main ESPN trade machine page, where you start by adding teams. Anyone else have this problem?

I just clicked my own link and it happened to me :o . Don't know what's up...they need to get that in order. The trade that worked was Diaw+Augustin for Richardson+Griffin

Yeah I'd jump right on that one. I don't really have much logic behind this but my sixth sense tells me Diaw would excel again in our system - improve over his current performance. Augustin has a shooting touch. We can get some good small ball going and put a continuous mix of Nash/Dragic/Augustin/Barbs at the 1 and 2. This would give us sort of a flex playmaking/shooting system. We revitalize Diaw's center eligibility and give him lots of minutes throughout the 3/4/5 spots - while cutting Frye's minutes down and bumping Jarron's minutes up a bit (even giving Jarron the start as I suggested elsewhere.

So to expand on your rotation, shifting a bit smaller:

Nash/Dragic/Augustin
Barbs/Duds/Augustin
Hill/Diaw/Duds/Clark
Amare/Diaw/Clark/Lou
Collins/Frye/Lou/Lopez/Diaw

I do unfortunately agree that we may have trouble convincing even Charlotte to give up Augustin in a package that takes back JRich - or to take back JRich at all for that matter. However I do prefer dreaming to reality sometimes...

Then we can pull a Kwame-Pau trade of our own since Diaw's contract is 9mil just like Kwame's was :)

not the same at all. diaw's is not an expiring. :P

I meant for next year. Because if a trade happened right now, it would take until at least this summer for us to trade Diaw again. Hypothetically speaking of course.
