IF we had to trade Amare, that would probably be one of the best deal for him.

Why would we trade Amare for two garbage players like Randolph, and Biedrins? Combine their stats and they don't even equal what Amare does...
You guys amaze me sometimes.

Re: Cavs and Suns trade..
I didn't mind the Tucker trade for nothing as that was good for Tucker and the Suns. But if the Suns trade a guy like Lopez for a measly million bucks, going to be ticked off. Lopez is young, cheap and under contract at reasonable rates for two more years.
Now, if the Suns want to move JRich in a salary cap dump - thats fine
If the Suns feel like Amar'e is going to opt out and move him for salary cap dump - I can live with that. But trading Lopez is stupid - its the reason the Suns are in this mess to begin with. Sarver again thinking short term. I know Sarver is probably sucking hard in the economy but trading a guy like Lopez or heaven forbid Dudley for chump change in the NBA world is stupid
But remember - this is the guy that passed on SErgio Rodriquez and Rondo for Banks to save a couple million in one year.

read a piece on cbs sports site about he NBA and teams losing money - Suns gate receipts are down almost 24%.
Have they dropped ticket prices or is that all just due to not selling out every game?

From what I've read, they've kept the ticket prices the same as last season so it seems it's a matter of ticket sales.

Since there have been no further reports, I'm assuming our attempt to help the Cavs win a championship fell through?

Thats good. Sarver needs to know that the fans don't want to root for a team that isn't going to contend for a championship. Build a franchise and the fans will follow.

You guys amaze me sometimes.
It would be Randolph, Bierdins AND their first round pick this year (which could snag us a great prospect if our scouting system doesn't fial)

Oh I'd do it. Plenty of guys to build around there, and Randolphs stat's are down because he doesn't get minutes from Comrade Nelly. He'd be a pretty good piece to build around. I wouldn't complain about Biedrins and Azabukuiekdjieiue or however you spell his name. Like them both as role players, but the pick would make it actually worth it

Why would we imagine GS would do this? Amar'e said he did want to be there so that's an expensive rental
