Barbosa still needs to learn it's a team game.

Barbs took the shots that he was given. Three wide open threes in the third(which he missed). A straight drive to the hoop(which he got clobbered on). His TOs were legitimate mistakes, but I wouldn't say that he played a selfish game by any means.

The one he got clobbered on is what I'm talking about. He drove to the basket (knowing there's no where to go) and 5 (five) (cinco) kings players were in the paint while 3 Suns players were outside the 3 pt line watching. Also, if you guys notice, everytime he does a pick and roll with Amare he ends up shooting the ball. He NEVER passes the ball.

We almost lost another game where Nash led the scoring with many tos, were it not for Amare finally getting some touches in the closing minutes to bail us out. Nash did nail all 6 FTs in the last min due to intentional fouls by the Kings.

the bench was bad tonight. I think grant has hit his wall. he is not really helping the team any. some one needs to step up in place of grant's production.

Pretty good game by J-Rich - that's a shocker.

We have to get consistent production out of at least one of Barbosa, Hill or J-Rich, if the offense will still rely on Nash that much, he's gonna die by april.

I know everyone likes Hill because he's likeable veteran who stayed loyal, and his story of overcoming injuries at his age is feel good one. But he's not contributing, he doesn't handle the ball, or create offense or make open shots.

I know everyone likes Barbosa. But he's a chucker, makes bad decisions and forces shot after shot after shot.

I know everyone hates J-Rich which is pretty fair.

Our 2/3 guys not named Dudley suck HARD.

I still don't get the Barbosa criticisms. He's coming off of ankle and wrist injuries. It's affected his shot. He's not getting the minutes he used to. He's forcing a lot in an attempt to make the impact he used to, but it's resulting in careless TOs. Give him some time and he'll get back to being the terror of the bench he's always been. It was only last season that he put up a 19 PER.

I think JRich has made a lot of us hypersensitive to dumb basketball and that's where the LB criticism comes in. He's had a rough couple of years, for sure.

I don't understand why Amare is shooting near 70% from the field but he is only getting 15-20% of the shots. He should at least be getting 25-35% of the shots taken.
Hill needs to be more productive. His shooting percentage has taken a dip since December, a huge cause for concern. He needs to come off screens and shoot more often, obviously his isolation game is dropping.
Barbosa is streaky at times. He stills needs to lose that rust from his injuries, I'm not worried about him, he'll come back around.
FEED AMARE PLEASE. He isn't just a beneficiary of Nash, he can create and cause problems too. Please feed the beast. Not just in the first quarter. Throughout the game.

Always been? Barbosa was a terror off the bench for one year in his career. Actually yeah, he's a terror for our team. He's a chucker and forces shot after shot. When its in his hands and he's going out of control to the basket its automatically going to be a shot. Leandro never saw a shot he didn't like.

Which one year was that? Was it the year he won 6MOY? Was it last year, when he posted a career high PER? Seriously dude?

He's a blackhole man, you give him the ball and you know your not getting it back. He's too streaky and he comes out and play well about 1/3 of the games he plays.

Um..there's absolutely no basis for any of your comments. You provide no evidence, so I feel I don't have to either when I say: you are wrong.

Leandro Barbosa
Position: Back up PG / SG
Career Assist Average in 26 MPG: 2.7 APG

Thats not good especially in years past when he has played more back-up PG. When he gets hot he's fine. Its just usually he's not. All he can do is score and we don't need more scorers. Listen, I'm not saying he's the worst player in the NBA here, I'm just saying, I don't see him as a piece to the puzzle.
