That's how it typically goes. The most important part that people need to focus on is that Earl Clark is not the solution to any of the Suns woes. Consistency is. Bringing in a noob rookie who is unreliable, immature, and has a poor work ethic, would not do anything but interrupt team chemistry, hurt our scoring, and hurt our defensive rotations.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

Would you prefer

Frugal : characterized by or reflecting economy in the use of resources

Or

Stingy : not generous or liberal : sparing or scant in using, giving, or spending

Or perhaps

**** : grudgingly mean about spending or granting : begrudging

There is no denying his efforts to cut costs, and at times (several) the results have weakened this team. Cheap is as good of a word as any, but you can take your pick, unfortunately for us.

**** = an old word, resembling the 'N' word... the PC filter strikes again

Frank - how about "penny wise and pound foolish."
Yes, the one that rhymes with 'dastardly' is troublesome but pretty accurate

anyone seen the wiretap piece about the 14 teams in the lux tax territory? We're at under $5 mil - Lakers are at close to $22 mil

thank you

I am so tired of people who are so tired of the "sarver is cheap" argument.

Check your facts and get rid of your tunnel vision. Sarver has made some overcompensating moves of late - but look at our beautiful transaction history since his hostile takeover. I won't bother to make my page-long post as I did recently in response to your similar post - but it still applies.

C would be my grade. We are in the same spot and almost identical record as last season. The only difference now is we look more "exciting". Wooohoo.

We are just as bad defensively. Still have a turnover problem. Still are about the same in scoring and offensive production. We just live and die by the 3 versus having a post game with Shaq.

We basically traded an inside game for more 3 point shooting. Yes it's more exciting but I would not be surprised if we make the playoffs but also would not be surprised if we don't.

If this team is not good enough to win it all...I am with all that say blow it up. This team is not even close to being good enough to contend.

Thats as good a take as any Dog of Steel. C - C+ is about right.

I am on the fence for the roster explosion. I would not mind it, but not sure it has to occur ASAP. I think this FO is still reactionary with their options. It would take a very good offer for anything to change before the Trade Deadline. As far as Kerr-plunk structuring a blow-up deal ???? Past experience says he'd be more comfortable with a bomb in his underpants. Hopefully, I underestimate him, and it is actually the meddling Sarver that has egged his face. Who knows ?

We have had a way harder sched than last season too -- chock full of +600 teams and back to backs. Our schedule the rest of the year is considerably easier. Just need to find consistency and win those games we should win, and steal a few we prob shouldn't.

PS: LOL @ EC55. Gentry was FURIOUS with him last night -- at least that's what was reported. Hope his ass rides the bench the rest of the season, like a scrub should. God he almost lost the game for us -- single handedly.
