Send him to the D-League... to "develop" -- ya know, the NBA "Development" League?

And here's why not. List of players better than Clark:

Nash
Hill
Frye
Lopez
Dudley
Amundson
Stat
Barbosa
...etc

He's at the end of the bench.

We're just playing inconsistent right now... we're mentally and physically soft. This won't last long.

He only gets significant PT if we pull off a major trade (i.e. trading Amare).

While he hasn't shown much, I agree he needs consistent minutes to grow. No worries about him becoming another tucker though. I hope we develop him into a SF who can play PF a bit.

I'm not concerned about the fouls. If he were a third year player that had been playing 20 minutes a game I might be worried, but he's getting used to how this game is called.

Frankly, this is what I am hoping for. The guy has just had a couple of decent games, individually, so what? Shaq played well all the time, and still everyone agrees that he was hurting the team more than helping it. For RoLo:

GOOD
He's big

BAD
He's slow
Cloggs the paint
Can't catch the ball
Lowest bball IQ
And, the last but not the least, he steals playing time from Lou

Just IMHO

Baby steps boys. He has always played in the shadow of his bro and last year behind Shaq and behind Amare. He has never been the man, so you are not going to see that. He has a lot of tools and potential. I like that he is not soft, and goes after it hard. Remember, this is his first start, and he has had some injuries too in the first year and a half. Its games like this that gives us glimpse of what he can be. I am not expecting an all star type of center, but a solid guy that can score, rebound and play D. That is what we need down low, especially if the suns are going to talk extension with Amare.

Now be patient with EC. He is not another tucker. Also, the D league does not really develop players either. If that was true, Tucker would be our staring SG with how he dominated. I will get worried if he is not getting mins next year moreso than right now. There are guys that are better than him right now with more experience and higher bball IQ’s. He will be fine.

Agreed. We don't need Rolo to be "the man" and never will. At best, he'll be a starting defensive C who can block/alter shots, crash the boards, and do all the dirty work. I'm cool with that. I don't expect him to be an offensive option or an all-star.

Agree with the baby steps and all - I was ready to write the kid off, so the fact that he can play decently and show some promise is a nice bright spot amid the crap we find ourselves in. But I'm not heartbroken if we're showcasing him - depending on what /who we trade him for and what/who goes with him and comes back. If he's going with JRich, I can live with that .....

I missed most of the game but I will say you can't blame a guy for fouls he picks up when we're intentionally fouling to get possession - come on. He has a long way to go but seems like there's sign he can get there. Having a big who does not demand touches is a very good thing to pair with Amar'e.

Please, now. Theoretically, in Shaq we could have had a big who didn't demand touches either, no?

Theoretically, we can win the championship this year ...

Please see all those post-game statements of Shaq's re: "I need the ball"
After Porter decreed the offense had to run through Shaq, he changed his "I'm here to fit in" tune considerably. In fact, when CLE was losing earlier this year he was saying the same things - "I'm the most dominant ever but if i don't get the ball ..."

What's his excuse, as a professional athlete? Seriously... it's like he was trying to spite us for not starting him...

His excuse? How about "people know how to neutralize Nash"?
