Whatever he is he's 6th in the NBA in scoring.

That doesn't mean he's a good PG. He almost averages as many turnovers as he does assists. He's a top 25 player, at best. He's always going to be a glorified chucker imo.

It's arguable if Ellis is even top 5 on the Warriors, much less the league. I'm not a very big Amare fan, but I'm even less of an Ellis fan.

MVF's quote almost rivals your kgceltics sig.

You're entitled to your opinion mate, but you have to at least have some reason behind your opinion. All you've given us so far is that you've seen Ellis play a few times on League Pass.

I see why MVF thinks Ellis is a top 5 player in the league. It's pretty simple. Sure, Ellis might be the #1 in turnover but please look at the assist/turnover for the top 6 and tell me if it's really that bad. At least his assist/to ratio is better Carmelo and Durent. Also, remember he's #1 in the league in steals. The dude play a freakin 42 mpg! OF COURSE HE'LL BE TIRED AND TURN THE BALL OVER. His fg% and 3pt% is better than Wade. Remember, he's doing all this right after getting back from an injury that thought to affect his game. Also, for the dude who said he can't even bring his team to a winning record.. tell me, can Durant, Wade, or Camelo Anthony really win games if he's surrounded by 3 freaken D leagues, a rookie and Devean George who supposed to be retired?

Yeah, no one's doubting his talent or production, we know he's good. But top 5 good? He's easily top 5 in SG (Kobe, Wade, Roy, Ellis, Mayo) but not top 5 overall. He hasn't even been picked for an all-star or all-nba team, you can't just put him in top 5 status if all he's done is score a lot on a mediocre team.

you are right. Even though I'm a Warrior fan, i don't think ellis is a top 5. And Yes, maybe top 5 in guards. There are just too many players in this league.
