Are you implying that Amare cares? There were many times tonight where the offense died when the ball went into Amare's hands. I did like those eight seconds where he just stood there with ball in his hands staring at the basket.

I don't think there is anything more frustrating than watching JRich and Amare look extremely athletic on one play, and just off the short bus on almost every other play. Near the end, Amare showed some more effort, but it seemed more in a stat padding way, than a team leading way.

i actually didn't watch the game tonight... i was at the bar having fun with friends instead of sitting around getting depressed watching a team that doesn't know how to even try to win.

Well they tried to win, but we just have too many stupid players. Plus if our offensive minded players aren't scoring, what do you expect? I am not depressed, there were some bad calls down the stretch that didn't go our way, and we kept it close. I am really not expecting much this year. I was happy with the start, but I guess I am maturing to a point where it doesn't ruin my day or night anymore. :D

Still word has it that Nash just didn't have it physically tonight, I wonder if he'll make a sudden recovery tomorrow for the GW's game?

J Rich looked really good in the 1st half where he was posting up the smaller guards and getting easy points, I missed the 2nd half but it looks like he started playing badly again.
I think as I said before we need to shorten the rotation and give players that are having the hot hand PT, subbing less players is better imo as when players come in it takes them a bit of time to get in the flow of things.

I can see that thought, but if that was the case, I would start Goran at the two, and play more Lou and less Amare. I would also full court press when we have guys like Goran, Lou, and Dudley out there together. LB needs to sit out for a bit. We also have starters that take a while to get going, and sometimes not at all, so it is tough to gauge when and who to shorten down to.

Well, looking closely into the plays you were alluding to, you'd see that none of the Suns players could shake free to receive a pass. Is that Amare's fault that our players are not used to be moving without the ball, or setting and using screens to get free? Particular Nash looked clumbsy trying to get free there. The fact that Amare held the ball so long indicates his willingness to be the team player and make the pass. It's an egg and hen question with the couple of unsuccessful plays with Amare having the ball on high post. Maybe we just need to practise these set plays more often.

Why can't you just learn to be a jerk and rub it in our faces?! Seriously, every last one of you that's come on here has been nice despite beating us in every way shape and form tonight. Something like "I'll show you 2 time MVP! Rose in yo face!" or maybe "Even Noah's fat gap was draining shots on your 'defense'!" Or perhaps, "Kirk might be giving up 7 inches to Frye, but he still stopped him from scoring in the post!" Ya know, something condescending and Laker-like.

Bulls fan here:
1) The Bulls this year have the league cornered on humiliating losses. The Bulls lost to NJ at home. They lost a 35 point lead to the Kings at home. They lost to a GS team on the road that only dressed 4 NBA players with the others just called in from the D-league. The Bulls lost to the Raptors by like 40. If you ever want to feel internet troll pain, lose to the Raptors by a lot. Any Bulls fan who talks smack this season needs to get his head examined.

2) In general, Bulls fans seem to have a high regard for the Suns team. Personally, all my dealings with Suns fans on the General and Trade boards have been pleasant where Suns fans have a good understanding of the league and aren't overly high on themselves.

Good luck the rest of the season. As far as selfish comments, I would love to land Amare, but I seriously doubt the Bulls do it.

I have to agree with the previous comment, Amare was looking to set someone else up but no one cut to the basket but stood around.
We need to setup some plays in the high and low post where we try to work out some back door passes in order to get some easy shots but all too often the offense stagnates when we start putting up 3pt shots and start missing.

you are fantastic

in my grand master plan of trades that changed the world I'd do Amare for Deng and Thomas. Bull's only lose like 4 mil of their offseason money and it's not a really lopsided trade (i don't think). I'd like a pick but for some reason I don't see that happening seeing as how everyone knows we're getting more and more likely to rebuild

SOLD!

do most suns fans agree with something like this? as a bulls fan i think many or most of us would make this deal and give a first too. if we can lose a little more salary (ie hinrich) then we could still acquire a joe johnson in the offseason.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls
