KJ was much, much quicker laterally than Goran.

And the word on Mrs. Dragic is she's a solid post player with upside. I say we draft the whole damn family

But in all seriousness, how old is his brother? It looks as thought he's old enough to enter the draft at 6/22/1989. Anything think he'd get drafted sooner than the mid second round if he were old enough to enter this year? It's not like we'll get a franchise big that late but I'd take the unheralded younger brother YET AGAIN! Throw in Xavier Henry's brother http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/player/pr ... erId=43037 and we could piece together and entire team of unheralded brothers! TRADE STAT FOR BROOKE TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enter Goran Dragic?

When the Phoenix Suns lost Leandro Barbosa for 4-6 weeks due to wrist surgery on a cyst, a lot of people wondered how they would replace his scoring. Well, apparently there no longer is a need to wonder because second-year guard Goran Dragic is perfectly capable of handing things on his own.

In his past three games Dragic – averaging 8.3 points and 2.4 assists on the season – has put up scoring totals of 20, 32, and 12, while also dishing eight total assists. He's also 10-17 from three-point range and recorded four steals in one game.

In retrospect, perhaps this shouldn't have been a surprise. In 16 games previously this season he had played 20 or more minutes and logged double-digit scoring in nine of them. He's shooting a phenomenal 41.4% from three-point range on the season.

Want another amazing set of numbers? In those games Dragic has played 20 or more minutes he is 32-70, 45.7%. See that? More minutes, higher percentage. He also isn't shy about shooting, 10 times taking four or more three-pointers in a game.

Maybe the Suns will be just fine without Barbosa…although, they are 1-2 in the last three games without him.

You dont mess with the Go-ran!

I love seeing articles praising him. Who would have guessed it a year ago? The more praise, the more confidence, the better he preforms!

WEIRD. Usually Suns fans on this board are really supportive of rookies and their slow development pace...

they're all dumb nicknames... so i voted for Gogi... cause its not as embarrassing sounding as the rest. its just funny sounding. i hate all the nicknames like... Magic Dragic, and Tragic Dragic (the old one), because while they work in type, his name is not pronounced at all like the other words.

You worry about that later. Right now you just try to get the best value possible. Problem is that Traxxe and Gambo have said that GS and Minny have no shot of happening.

keep saying this - you don't run with your 5. If the break doesn't work you set up for half-court. But it's nice to have the option, and it starts with defensive rebounding.
cf. Showtime Lakers, Celts, etc.
