Piss-poor rebounding seemed to kill us yet again.

That and Dallas was literally allowed to shove our players around. This is actually the second game in a row where I saw Terry do (well what I would call a cross check in hockey without a stick) to one of our players on defense with absolutely no call. I understand that Lopez is quite bigger than he is, but he did a two handed shove. Why wasn't that called. That, and every other foul was called on them, not every. For example, Terry (yet again) slaps Dudley in the face, no call, and right in front of the ref, and then Duds gets mugged right after that. I guess that one was too obvious. I was surprised there wasn't a fight. I am glad that Hill stood up to the BS. Nash has a tough time when the opposing players are allowed to be that physical with him. And who wouldn't? I am glad Amare kept his cool, he was hammered quite often.

We need a bruiser player that we can afford to lose for a few games, but pay his fines. A real Dave Semenko (Oilers goon from the early eighties) type guy. He just goes out there and beats the crap out of some players. Terry would be top on the list to get the beating. :)

His back has been bothering him lately. Thus poor shooting in the two games after ASG, I guess

Despite Dallas getting away with murder, our crappy rebounding, 17 tos, and 5-22 from 3 - we lost by 10. We even just hit few of our 3's we win. Dallas just doesn't scare me at all.

We have Collins who we never use who could take Terry down, JT has always been somewhat of a punk with his comments and gameplay.

If Nash's back wasn't bothering him he would beat Dallas tonight. Hill should of dropped Nowitzki to the ground would of made great headlines.

Beautiful -
anyone notice how none of us really mentioned Shawn ...?

Honestly, I thought we did okay last night. If we'd been hitting threes at all, we would have been right there at the end. Defense is still an issue but it always will be with our first unit. 2nd unit covered themselves in glory, again.

I like this time a lot. Just a few tweaks and we can be a tough defensive team that can force turnovers and run. Or play half-court. Just need to add a Raja type in the backcourt

Pfft, lets not act like the Mavs were playing Detroit ..Spurs dirty ball out there, yall are exagerating.

Ya'll were also down nearly 20 points a few times and your bench kept saving em, and it took Amare finially playing like a man on the boards to keep it close.

Dragic looks like a pretty promising player BTW.

marion to me was great but he never developed his game further after he got a max contract. he left because he got butt hurt when kerr told him he doesnt deserve a max contract. I am a U of A alumi and even jason terry pisses me off. I think his comments about " god wants us to win today" is pure none sense. I am religous and I think that this is just pure narcisistic on terry's part. Terry is a good player but he will always be remembered as a player who took it in the butt in the finals. HE choked at the U and he is choking now with dallas. ahahahah... jerk!! he thinks he is a badass but he looks like Steve urkel.

Couldn't be all she wrote. Hill doesn't just start ish and then blow up about it.

Anyways, I was just curious because I like hearing about that kind of competitive fire.

BTW, when I said "Beautiful" as regards the Stat/Marion pic, I wasn't crapping on Shawn - just thought it was great to see Stat playing like that. Just happened to be Trix on the other end

speaking of which, isn't his contract about up?

What do you mean thats not all she wrote, nothing else happened. It didnt escelate into anything after that. Go watch it for yourself. I never said Hill started it though, Hill was the one who shoved the German which was probably a foul that went uncalled but it was Dirk who confronted him about it.

Why Hill gave that kinda shove ? Maybe something happened earlier in the game that I didnt see, or sometimes you just take your shots when you can get away with it, its just basketball.
