Sarver reminds me of the people that bought houses they couldn't afford a few years back, now they are constantly selling everything to keep afloat. If he is so concerned its time to dump it.

I can understand the cuttin costs, especially in the tough economy. But at some point you got to realize the NBA is an entertainment. If your team doesn't entertain, people won't show up, you'll lose money. Sure the Clippers and Nets can be entertainin, but I want more like Celts or (cant believe Im gonna say this) *sigh* Lakers entertainment.
At some point, you really gotta think bout the customers. Although they ought to be a top priority, one would think.

Have to blame others also - he wasn't the one who said he wouldn't have played Rondo or to do the deal because Iggy probably wouldn't be there at #7...

Hey does anyone know if the Suns saved any money on the Jared Dudley and Jason Richardson deal? Because that deal is what is causing the Suns to loose Amare if they trade before the trade deadline or lose him in the off season. Jason Richardson is the most damaging player on the Suns he has those really great games once and awhile but mostly has games where anything god that he does in that game is negated by the end of the game . Why haven't they tried to package a player besides Amare with Jason Richardson to get capspace if they need to save money so bad why sabotage the Suns future and present just to save money . Now Paul Coro of AZrepublic and http://www.Azcentral.com has said that the Suns made 2 year extension offers on top of Amare's 17.7 million for the 2010-2011season . The fact that they would be willing to pay Amare 17.7 next season and probably slightly less after that the next two years says a lot. Has Saver learned anything the last three years or is he just too stupid to understand that it was a bad decision because if its the latter we need a new owner ASAP!!!!!

As much as I don't like Sarver, he's a smart businessman and I also don't think he's as wealthy as some of the other owners.

He's still better than Bill Bidwell

Bidwill started spending as soon as he got a stadium. I'd hate to see the cost cutting moves the Suns would be making if they were sharing Wells Fargo arena with the Sun Devils and weren't getting all the gate and concessions. And atleast Bidwill prefers to remain in the backround instead of making an ass of himself on the sidelines.

On a personal note everyone I know who has done business with Bill Bidwill has said he is one of the nicest and most generous people they have met. I've only known 1 person who's been in contact with Sarver and they pretty much said he was a dick(that was a few months after he bought the Suns). Not that I care as much about that as I do about team success.

Exactly, the only good thing that would come out of this trade is fans personally saving money by not going to games or buying merchandise.

yes a emphatic yes, unfortunately he needed to go about three years ago. but sadly there's little we as fans can do short of not buying the product and even this wont drive the rose colored basketball i support my team regardless loyalists away

Is it true that the Sarver flew coach to Dallas for the ASG?
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

I personally think that this is Sarver's last chance to at least pretend he cares about the team. If Kerr was smart he'd resign right now before Sarver fires him and makes him the scapegoat.

So lets buy him out.....

500,000 scant stockholders/shares @ $1000 per. We have at least 200 here

If you build it, they will come.

Or we can all just chip in every season to pay the luxury tax in exchange for him signing a full championship-caliber roster

I'll be in for 3 shares. With $arver gone we are sure to make a profit on our money.

I am not sure why he bought the team in the first place. He is reminding me more and more of Mr. Sterling, and that scares the hell out of me.

It might be your one and only chance to own a NAB franchise. I am good for 5, just to retain my 'majority interest' 8-) .

We can all take turns in the 'owners box'.... all seats behind the baskets would be available for purchase on game day....upper deck, behind the goals, $10 general admission (believe it or not, they used to be $5 at the MadHouse).... $3.00 beers and $1.00 hot dogs... horns and drums allowed on the upper deck.... triple the cheerleading staff.... Just a few of my fan friendly modifications.

just a few of my 'fan friendly' suggestions.
What ? Me Worry ?
