Re: Jason Richardson
I like J-Rich when he's not being a bonehead. If he could consistently play like he has the past few weeks he'd be a lot less hated. Its just that he usually will put up 20 one night and then pretty much cost the team games the next night.

I would say that people's opinion on JRich changes almost daily depending on how he plays in a specific game

Re: Jason Richardson
He's 5th in rebounding among guards at 6.4rpg.
3 of the guys above him are natural 3's (Iguodala 6.7, Caron Butler 6.6, Ariza 6.5).
Jason Kidd is 4th at 6.5.
I could see JRich leading guards by season's end if he keeps up boarding like he has been.

It's not about numbers. It's about intelligence.
He's still a freakin' moron. He took an AWFUL three pointer on Thursday night against Utah in the crucial stages. Missed it badly, Utah comes down and scores a three of their own. Six point swing that helped nail the coffin.
Not to mention he had a REALLY stupid and unnecessary foul on a breakaway for the Jazz which gave them a bucket plus the free throw...
Score a lot of points---cool, awesome. His stupidity is inexcusable....I don't care.

His 'moronic' decision makings always accompany Nash's intensity of ball dominance. Amare, JRich, and Hill all stepped up big time after Nash was instructed to loosen up on the grip of the ball. In that Utah game, Nash for some reason controlled the ball way too much, thus JRich behaved accordingly late in the game.

Everybody makes bonehead plays, JRich just has a biased target on him. People have been jumping from one memorable bad play to the next, since his first week here.
Bottom line is , we are a better team with him.... especially lately, and his stat-line shows it. I'll take a bonehead SG who is producing like he is.

Like Amare's potential if he were to develop some post moves, this is the most frustrating part: He's really, really, good almost everything we ask for, but has some OBVIOUS flaw that makes us wanna choke 'em from time to time!

I'd rather he have no post game and actually play defense.

+1.
I don't dislike JRich for this team because he's boneheaded since everybody makes boneheaded plays now and then. I dislike JRich for this team because he's still useless defensively and if he isn't shooting well then T.Griffin has a more positive effect on our game than JRich does.

Now and THEN? Man, the guy has been around just barely over a year now total and I can count instance after instance after **** INSTANCE that he's had some DISASTROUS mistakes. On AND off the court.
Let's not act as if it's a once or twice thing.

Now and then, here and there, time and time again. It's still not the reason I dislike him. His boneheadedness annoys me but it's not the main reason.

A traffic/safety infraction, a missed defensive assignment, a blown dunk.... you have more ? Since they were so DISASTROUS surely you can list them offwith ease ?
Do you hold others as accountable ?
Its easy to hate. This guy has kept in many a ballgame. But no kudos for that eh ?
What ? Me Worry ?
