Man... as much as I hate the Spurs.... I would absolutely love if Popovich was our coach.

You got to love Pop - great coach, great sense of humour

Pop's one of the best coaches in the league, right there with Sloan and P-Jax. But I don't think he's game fits in with our personnel.

This is like the Kobe problem: It's much, much, much better to make 'em shoot from outside than let TD beat the hell out of poor Collins or Frye all day.

Duncan ... he is pretty good, you know.

What are you talking about??? He would TOTALLY embrace a run-and-gun style, one that would never, ever consider doing something dirty to help win a playoff series.

I'm not bitter what are you talking about.

Here's someone else with a great sense of humor.

Jared Dudley tweeted this before the game. "Got the spurs 2nite. Must slow dwn Ginobli he's been on a tear lately. How should we guard him?"
Nash's tweet response "put me on him of course."

Prior to the game, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was giving a serious, thoughtful answer about how his team turned its season around since a Feb. 28 win against Phoenix. That is when Steve Nash walked by the hallway media gathering and coughed an expletive (bull!), playfully objecting. "Go practice your jumper," Popovich joked. "Maybe you'll make a shot tonight if you shoot a few. We're going under (the screen) on every pick-and-roll." Nash went 4 for 9 on jump shots but did more damage by penetrating for layups and assists.
