Why wasn't this thread locked? Isn't there a game thread each game dedicated to talking about what is going on in the game?

Earl Clark sucks at D. He sucks at everything, really -- so far.

I agree with Mary. Clark should get at least 10 min. the next game so he can check Odom. I wouldn't put him on Kobe like others have suggested though. That would be disastrous. Clark falls for every pump fake and Kobe would be shooting 20 plus freethrows. But he has a much better chance of slowing down Odom than Amare or Lou.

Now the lakers have a problem on their hands.

Did you guys watch the same game I did Grant Hill did a great job defending Kobe and then the refs called three phantom fouls on Hill so Kobe would get his . I am telling you that Grant Hill had slowed Kobe down and the damn refs new it and preceded to call three fouls that where obviously not fouls and by doing that they took Hill's effectiveness on the defensive end away . The NBA is making it impossible to even slow Kobe down I am not talking about Shutting down because there is no one that can but slowing down and the minute Hill does is when the refs blow three foul calls when there were no fouls happening on the court . Those three calls in a row very damaging to the NBA's Credibility and just shows me that David Stern is hypocrate 1

^ Hill was being overly aggressive. Part of defending Kobe is not doing this. He knows how to get under your skin out there and make u foul him, just ask J Rich. Grant knows if Kobe gets him in the post he's done so he over played him.

Better luck next time.

O and please play this Earl guy. I'm very curious to see it.
Greatest comment I've ever received.

We've seen Earl Clark play good defense in the regular season. So i dont see why it isnt worth a shot. earl Clark was DRAFTED to deal with guys like Odom, because of his excellent length.

LA Warrior needs to take off the homer glasses because Grant hill was slowing Kobe down the fouls that I am talking about were terrible no contact was ever made and it was clear as day the gap between Kobe and Hill was big enough it was laughable. You must be a nine year old sucker especially if your a Laker fan . Its obvious that the NBA didn't want Grant Hill to be successful it would hurt there pocket books. Amare needs to keep his mouth shut and I don't know if his mother being arrested before the game had any effect since she has been in trouble with the law a lot. I really hope not because that piece of garbage even though its his mom doesn't deserve the attention considering she doesn't seem to care about him at all.
