You know I love basketball but at the End of your life, you have to question what you have done to help anything or anyone.

Nash can die knowing he has done great things in his life, helped as many people as he could, and was as much an unselfish person he could be.

Kobe, good luck finding a positive thing he has done!

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this instance by an 'orrible ****... me!

Glad you guys dug it - it really summed up Nash for me and the reasons why i admire him for much more than just his game. I'm the least nationalistic guy around, but If Steve is who people think of when they think of a Canadian, I'm pretty happy

JJ was good even playing with Nash. His NUMBERS aren't as good because guys like Nash, Amare, Marion and even Q-Rich all four of them take the slice of the pie. He played better in Atlanta because of growth and being the man on a bad team. How effective as he been in the playoff? Not much.

Dirk did better after Nash left. Same can be said about Nash leaving Dallas and Dirk. That Dallas team while good lack a clear identity. Dirk and Nash both need the ball in their hand to be effective. They're good friends but they are holding each other back by trying to defer. I think their success after the broke up has more to do with them finally giving the role of being the leader and main guy on their own team.

Agreed. This is no slight against Nash but Amare could've been a much better offensive player than he is now if it wasn't for Nash's ball dominance. I think Amare would've had to develop a post game without Nash because without those lobs and the PnR, all Amare would've had is the dunk and jumper.

Post game is fundamental basketball for a man his size. Amare just doesn't have it. Remember how he likes to call himself a point forward that likes to hang around the elbow and make plays there? He doesn't like playing center. That's not on Nash. That's him.

D"Antoni never developed or used a big man with a post game because of Nash. The post game slowed down the system and all Nash really needed was a PnR finisher so there was "no need" for Amare to develop a post game.

That's true. Coming right out of high school he seemed to never had a chance to learn some fundamental ball. It's a shame. But it's also true that Amare has no desire to develop a post game since coming into the league. He'd rather develop game beyond the arc.

True. But we saw him playing more with his back to the post this season. Saw a lot more hook shots then we previously saw.
