In this alternate universe however Nash has managed to bring us a ring for whatever reason

A big reason i love the suns is because of the team chemistry, how the players appear off the court. Without that...well...it wouldn't be the suns.

Yeah because this isn't setting someones friend up for a blind date with the guy, it's basketball, his skills are the only thing that makes a difference. Nash could be one of those redneck Canadians with a John Deer hat and plaid shirts but if he brought the Suns a title I could care less.

Championship thanks. I'm a big Steve Nash fan but a bigger Suns fan. Whether or not Nash is a nice guy wouldn't be an issue if he brings us a title, there would probably just be more haters if Nash was an a-hole. If he got us a ring but he was also a nice guy, then that's a bonus.

if i wanted to cheer for piece of #%@$ players, i would be cheering for the Lakers and Kobe. i am a suns fan for 2 reason they have class as far as their players and org. second i love the running style of the suns. so to make it clear if the suns brought in kobe and allen iverson to be backcourt 2011 and started to play a walk it up style flat out i would stop watching them.

I can't believe all of the people saying that they would rather have a title, regardless of how depraved the players are. The team is nothing without the players. If you are going to root for a team, you have to root for the players. I don't see how you could root for someone that despicable, regardless of how talented they are. I've lived in Phoenix my whole life and I've always been a Suns fan, but if they had a bunch of dirtbags that I didn't like, I would cheer for someone else.

While we're on the subject, why does everyone act like the season is a complete loss if you don't win a championship? I mean, it's disappointing to get so close and not win one, but I would much rather watch a good team make a deep playoff run every year than cheer for a team that wins one championship, but misses the playoffs every other year.
