I live in Florida, you are more than welcome to pick another team. Doesn't matter where you live.

I just want to know, did you mean to call yourself Toucansam and accidentally switched the m and the a?

LMFAO @ WTF.

Anyway, Griffin is awesome. He's definitely been the string-puller. Good talent guy, strong knowledge of the game.....really solid. Of course he's good, why else would Sarver clash with him?

Hahahaha an old nickname of mine. Friend spelled Sam Sma so I was called that. Then told me I was a fruit loop so I was then called Toucan SMA.

Collier County Suns fans in Da House!!!

And for my contribution to this post... Griff will be an above average guy at /least/. Hard to know how he would really operate under an owner that isn't so wishy washy. I'll certainly miss his draft videos. The video of him and Kerr doing the Dragic deal with SA was awesome to see, especially considering what has happened since.

If you continue to berate him you'll continue to break TOS. Just ignore him. Everyone has a right to their opinion.

Anyone think Griffin departed Phnx knowing he was going to land in Portland ? And Kerr, knowing he was going to lose the 'true' brains behind the scene opted for the safer, easier TV route ?

Usually people quit one job for better opportunities elsewhere. It is easy to imagine Griffin had an informal agreement in place when he told Sarver to ride the hard one.

Seems like a nice enough guy but I wouldn't want him as GM. Suns didn't have a decent draft with him as a major front office exec until Kerr arrived. Signings the team made with he and D'Antoni as co-GM weren't very good either with the exception of Hill.

Thanks Rsavaj, I don't understand why people want to personally attack me because I have a different opinion. If they get that upset they should just ignore it or at least say why they disagree with basketball related reasons.

Sounds like a decent theory.

This has been a strange thread, seeing as I have both Mary and WTF on ignore.

To echo (most) other posters: We'll miss Griffin, which is why it's not a matter of if he'll get a job, but where.

But then again, Mike D'Antoni is employed, too.

West, sources say, is more inclined to head for Golden State if Oracle CEO Larry Ellison eventually buys the team. In that scenario, it's believed former Phoenix vice president of basketball operations David Griffin would be a frontrunner to join West and run the day-to-day operations.

Maybe he will join Warriors not Blazers.
