So Nelson and Gortat don't interest you at all?

Not to the Suns no. Not saying they don't have value but if the Suns trade Nash it would be to rebuild and they already have their PG and C prospects. Nelson and Gortat make too much to be back ups on a rebuilding team and don't really offer any long term value. They'd be better going to a team looking to contend.

Nelson could be flipped to a team looking for a PG (IND/NY/CHA) and Gortat would be a great back-up for Lopez. This also would give Nash a chance to win a ring in his last 2 years in the league.

Then involve the 3rd team that would want Nelson in the deal. Suns lose leverage if they trade for him then have to trade him themselves.

I disagree with Gortat. He isn't happy being a back up to Howard don't see him being happy behind Lopez. He'd also have more value to someone who needs a big to compete and not really a rebuilding piece imo.

There are PLENTY of teams that want Gortat. I think with him backing up Lopez, he would get way more minutes then what he got backing up Howard. And if that doesnt make him happy, im sure there is a team out there that would give us something good for him.

As i see it, there are only a select few that would take on Nash (contenders). There are more out there that would take on Gortat and Nelson. So we would be opening up to a lot more possibilities with this trade.

The Suns will be fine without Amare, better or as good, no, but just fine. The East is loading up not the West. Call me when one Western Conf team gets better.

I can't wait to see Nash and Robin on the PnR's next year with Frye spacing the floor. I guess you forgot Lopez put up 20 and 14 pts against Gasol and Bynum in the WCF's, coming off of an injury. Lopez is a second year player for Christ's sake. What did Bynum or any other Center of recent time do in the second year playing against the likes of theses guys, along with the magnitude of the game.

BTW, Warrick is a back-up to help Gani fill Lous shoes. Frye will be a lot better on def covering 4 instead of 5's.

Last two games vs Lakers 14 and 11 Rebs........

Your statement would be true...if we replaced amare with someone who did some (or all) the things Amare doesn't, namely pass, rebound, and defend. That's why 2005-2006 was so successful with KT.

Instead we replaced him with someone who is worse in every measurable way.

So let the Magic find that team and include them in the deal. It's not smart to trade for someone you don't intend to keep because it lowers their value.

And I still feel the combo of Gortat/Frye/Warrick would be too much invested for a front court without much ability.
