Can't predict yet. Haven't seen how Warrick fits in.

However, I do know that the Knicks will suck all thanks to their 7-man rotation when D'Antoni is feeling generous.

All of the experts will say:

"The Suns lose their leading scorer and replace him with... Warrick? Haha, I'm a leading sportswriter and know so much more than you do about basketball it's not even funny. Steve Nash is getting older, blah, blah, blah. Grant Hill.... older..... blah. Suns cannot compete with the elite in the West anymore...."

Doesn't it get old?

Is anyone really that worried about finding more offense on our roster? It's not like replacing Amare's defense will be all that challenging.

1. Roster = Incomplete
2. Topic = Stupid (until point 1 is no longer true).

Talk to me when we have a settled roster.

I know how you Suns fans feel. I think Phoenix and Utah will be 9th and 10th. It was fun while it lasted.

Unfortunately, I think you're right about the Jazz, but the Suns won't miss the playoffs, even as constructed. They are still better than all the teams that missed the playoffs this past year. Jazz need someone to replace Boozer or they're done for. Suns won't miss Amar'e as much as the Jazz miss the Booze.

I think phoenix is too deep to miss the playoffs even without amare it doesn't matter because last year our MVP was our Bench followed by Nash then Amare.

With Lee, we fight for the last playoff spot, 8-11. Otherwise, we finish 10-14. It's rebuilding time.

gtfo. Lee is not that much of a step down from Amar'e. What other teams are going to improve that much? Suns still have their bench together, minus Lou most likely. More often than not it was the bench that destroyed other teams' benches. The Suns might not have two superstars, but they have Nash and A LOT of players with heart that hustle. I suppose you say the Rockets will finish better than the Suns? I doubt Yao Ming can even stay on the court the entire year, and after that they are all hustle and much less talented than the Suns lesser players/reserves. I'm calling it, Clippers will still end up sucking, they're the Clippers, they'll find a way. Kings win maybe 5-8 more games this season. Memphis doesn't finish any better than last season. GSW... just lol. Jazz, unless they replace Boozer are most likely out of the playoffs. NOH have a slim chance to make the playoffs but its gonna take a miracle year from Chris Paul. He'll have to average 30/15/8 and even then its iffy. Minnesota is like the Clippers. They won't do anything.

LAL will be LAL, Mavs will have a similar year to last season, Nuggets will look like they're going to be good, and ultimately be mediocre. Thunder will improve by a win or two from last season. Portland will be tough if they can stay off the injured list. San Antonio will probably barely make the playoffs next season, especially if they lose Parker somehow, and Timmy's not getting any younger, he looked slow as hell in the playoffs.

Or basically... not many teams in the West will be improved much from last season. All the big name FA's are headed or staying East. And even then, it's experimental to put two superstars together and have it work perfectly. Sometimes players just don't work well with other players.

yes... the Suns will finish 13th. They are no match for the Warriors/Kings/Clippers/Wolves.

Return to Phoenix Suns
