Toronto fans are very happy with this trade because they were asking for a few tanking seasons. they lost hope of getting to playoffs or getting out of round 1 of playoffs and consider doing a Nets style tanking is the best thing in this circumstance.
Now with the departure of Bosh, Hedo and possibly Calderon, they are happy that it is going to happen.

Although Hedo was pretty bad in Toronto, I can't see him being awful in Phoenix because he'll have Steve Nash and other unselfish players around him. With that said, unless Hedo has a lot of ball handling responsibilities as he did in Orlando, he'll probably be overpaid.
Alvin Gentry is a very very good coach, so maybe he'll be able to utilize Hedo to the fullest and you'll get a good return on him. Hope it works out since the Suns are always the team I root for in the playoffs.
Spragga - The greatest trick the Raptors ever pulled was convincing the world that Defense doesn't exist.

Sorry to troll, Toronto fan here.

Yeah, Hedo was terrible here and never really fit in. He does have a reputation of being good for every 2nd team he plays for - good for Sac, stunk for Spurs, good for Magic, stunk for Raps.

I think this trade will actually go down as a good one for both sides. We're thrilled to have gotten rid of Hedo - if he had a bad season with us next season we'd be screwed with that contract. I'd much rather see him succeed in Phoenix than fail again in Toronto.

The good news for us is that most Toronto fans love the Suns because of Nash (not to mention a lot of the other guys are exciting to watch and cheer for). So if Turk plays good next season, I won't even be pissed....

I LOVE watching the Suns play. I think Nash will force Hedo to play to his potential. Their tandem will be very different from Nash and Stat, but more multidimensional.
Suns should still be a lot of fun to watch.

You got that idea from me. You're welcome. :rocking:
My opinion is that Warrick should start, if you dont respect that fine. i mean this is a DISCUSSION board, not a "my opinion is right and everyone else is wrong" board.

Anyway do you have any better ideas? Maybe re-locating this team to Canada? We all know how much you love Canada.
