We open against portland on the road and then go to utah on the road and then our first game is against LA after a b2b. So basically on the road against two of the toughest teams at their home courts and then a first home game against the defending champs. Sounds like a fun start.

The Suns will open their 2010-11 regular season at Portland, their first-round playoff victim from April, and start their home schedule against the Los Angeles Lakers, who knocked them out in the conference finals in May.

The NBA will release portions of the regular season schedule early for the first time in a one-hour special today on NBATV. The show begins at 4 p.m. Arizona time.

The announcements will include the opening-week schedule and holiday games on Christmas and Martin Luther King Day. The Suns played on both those holidays last season. They will play on MLK again this year at New York.

The home opener against the Lakers is on the second night of a back-to-back set after playing at Utah. Their first two games against the Lakers last season were also on the second nights of back-to-backs.

Two national TV games to start the season (assuming there's a few more) and the MLK game, looks like the networks still consider the Suns a draw at least.

If Okur is still out we have a chance at starting 1-2, he always hurts the Suns. I know they have Jefferson/AK at full health currently but their SG posistion is very weak unless 07' Raja shows up.

Nice, seems like I'll get a chance to at least see the first few games of the season and see how this team plays.

Get the crappy games out of the way so you end the season easy!

Sweet. More crappy back-to-backs.

On the brightside, if we open up 3-0... then everyone will love us. Then theres the worst case scenario that we go 0-3... I'm predicting 2-1 though. The loss against the Jazz though :o If the rest of the schedule has stupid b2b against playoff teams... I'm gonna murder someone.

Didn't we have a bunch of crappy back to backs last year..? Maybe they're continuing the trend... :(

Any team with Steve Nash on it will be a decent draw.
