Generally I think fan favorites are players who comes off the bench and play less than 15mpg. Hustle players or players who aren't as skilled are usually strong candidates. Goran has proven himself, will play a decent amount of minutes this season and I think he's too skilled.

If we expanded the criteria to anyone on the team then Nash is the fan favourite every season. Normally fan favourites have one particular skill they are very good at and known but a bit of a liability in other areas. The Birdman is a fan favourite in Denver because he's a great shot blocker but offensively he's a bit of a liability.
