I'm very excited for camp to start. Want to see how this SF logjam works for us

Well, I don't think it is a log-jam anymore. Hill is starter. Dudley is backup. Turk is PF. Clark won't play.

Do I like it? Heck no. But that's reality I guess. Curious to see how (badly) Suns do.

But they do have a solid 3-string frontline of Dwayne Jones (C), Gani Lawal (PF), and Earl Clark (SF). Very talented 3-stringers.

You always have your Rockets to run back to... anytime now would be nice.

And in comes Grumpysaddle with the knock-out punch.

New Dwayne Jones Suns highlights

Post#24 » by arizonatribe » Thu Sep 2, 2010 2:28 am

Here's some newly mixed clips from his performance in Game 2 of the Suns vs Blazers series.

Highlights some rebounding plays but the thing that stood out to me was how he moves his feet in the pick-and-roll and particularly how he fronted and sealed Pendergraph all while stalling the baseline drive of the ballhandler after rushing in from a switch on the top of the key.

Great post arizonatribe. I do hope Dwayne Jones gets some minutes with us this season. Him and Matt Janning can fight for the 13th active spot on our roster. I like how Jones goes hard for every rebound, and the thought of him being put on the inactive list will only make him be more determined.

I like this signing. Gives us insurance if one of our bigs go down and helps our rebounding problems. That video arizonatribe posted is pretty telling of what he can do. Good instincts on the defensive glass, hustle and toughness is there and runs the floor well. Good understanding of defense too. He recovered really well on that PnR. I'd prefer him than Janning for the last roster spot to be honest. He fills one of our needs moreso than Matt does.
