Kin dof with Frank here - it was time for barbs to move and he knew it, Stat got what he wanted and got it in NY, which is great for him. Lou probably would have stayed if he had a do-over but ... was there really room for him?
I love the guy and hope he has a great career, but I can see why it wasn't going to be here any longer.

Oh ya, Barbosa was the stupidest player in league history. Guess you never saw guys like Kenyon Martin, Smush Parker, JR Smith play? And that's from the last couple of years.

Holy hell, man. Barbosa black-holed too much, but really dude, there was NOTHING positive in his game? Not his speed, not his length, not his slashing ability, not his ownage of the Lakers most of the times we played them, not to mention the invaluable chemistry aspect of his presence?

Only Lou. Barbosa was a great guy but a cancer on the court. Amare has been a jerk to me personally on multiple occasions so I could care less that he's gone. Hedo is gonna drop seven 3s on him when the Knicks play us.

So I was thinking just purely off of numbers... Amare + Lou + Barbs last season was 23/9, 5/5, and 9/2 with points and rebounds. Total of 37/16... Replaced more or less with Hedo, Warrick, and Childress. If Hedo plays like he did in Orlando, we'll get 15/5, 10/5, and 10/5 (warrick's career average and what Childress did in atl for 4 year's. Added up and it's 35/15. We'll only be able to handle teams with 1 good post player with Lopez while the worse defender defends the worse offensive player, but not many teams have 2 good post scorer's. I don't see us having too much of a drop off from last year (I hope)

The first pic makes me feel good.... because the professional photographer is using the same camera and lens I do.


But all in all, the last few seasons, Suns have lost a lot of the "original" Run and Gun...

Its just how it is.... the Suns system makes these players very attractive to other teams, on top of them being highly skilled or useful. Its just the way it is...

It makes me value Nash more.... these players owe Nash and the system about 20-25% of their salary as how Nash helped them fulfil their potential and usefulness.... and the system too.



In Math terms...

Nash + x = Suns run and gun

x being replaceable by many many players.



My feelings about the photos are.... A bit saddenned, but these players have their own personnal agendas and you have to respect that. Suns did what they can, offered them contracts that were fair... but you have to realize some players value (A) Money and security (B) Playing time and rol on top of making you Suns fans happy..

The pics don't hurt too much, but I was watchin the knicks game earlier and it did hurt to see Stat in a NYK jersey. I'm still sad to see Marion and Diaw elsewhere.. but i am glad to see Diaws contract off the books.
