He's right. I think we (me included) are all getting a bit carried away here.

Solid performance from the Suns considering Nash and Hill played less than 15 minutes combined, and the Kings thought it was a playoff game and unleashed their starters.

P.S. I think Chucky Atkins deserves to get a contract with us. He can help mentor Dragic, and his experience and veteran leadership will be good for the locker room.

Their coach did the right thing though preseason wins might not mean much for veteran teams but for the young guys it helps build confidence. Thats why i'm disappointed in gentry for not letting lawal play at all especially when he knows how much talent confidence issues can waste. He could have given lawl at least a couple minutes to get the first game gitters out of the way so he could start learning.

I really don't have any problems with letting Lawal sit this one out as long as he gets heavy minutes in tomorrow's game.

It was good to see Clark get some minutes too.

Damn Suns, I took us in the ESPN Streak For Cash, which has absolutely terrible options today.

Damn!

Just a preseason game so no need to panic too much. Cant wait to see them in action when the games do count. ;)

Not the best way to start, but also not an honest attempt to win, more of an evaluation.

Good move for Sacramento, getting the young horses some burn... and likewise, good move by Gentry, letting Hill and Nash make an appearance and then not risk them in a meaningless game.

Good to see RoLo and Childress be productive, though, and Richardson, too. Sort of a grab-bag, little of this, little of that from everyone. 95 points scored without Nash is actually kinda nice, even if it was against Sacramento (no offense to Kings fans, certainly the young guys looked great).

Good to have Suns' basketball back, though!

Coro said that there are specific rotations in mind for each game, so Lawal is probably going to get his due. I don't worry about anything in preseason...it's all experimentation right now. We went 13 deep guys.

I was a bit concerned at first to see Hedo with only one rebound in 16 minutes, but then I saw Landry with three in 35 minutes. And many here wanted Landry as our starting PF. Gentry treated it like a true first preseason game. SAC treated it more like a first regular season game.

Preseason wins and losses have never defined the Suns.

I didn't think it was possible but after looking at photos of our jerseys this year they actually got WORSE from last year.

I'd hate to play in those they look like crap. Take all the grey out make them normal jerseys and call it a day. No gray in the jerseys!!!

Yeah no offense I wouldn't want to play in toronto anyways. I mean it's in Canada one which sucks except Steve Nash and two it's so cold there.

Hedo will do well here because he's playing with one of the best point guards of all time. Thanks for stopping by though :D

Anywhere it snows = cold!

I always thought it was cold because I watched Kids in the Hall growing up and they had a ton of skits about how cold it is. Plus I'm willing to bet the areas boarding North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin get pretty damn cold.

I think Vancouver dispelled a lot about it being cold when they had to ship in snow for the Olympics.

Ha looking back at that

I realize I made a completely ignorant and dumb statement considering the fact that outsiders would claim Phoenix is way too hot to live in and is a bunch of tumbleweeds cowboys indians etc and is uninhabitable haha

Anyway I've seen pictures of Toronto looks like a nice city but it's too cold for me. And as much as we say "I LOVE THE RAIN!!! IT'S AWESOME IT'S RAINING" that's all relative because it doesn't rain here at all.

If it rained say 40 days out of the year we'd probably be complaining about it let alone 160 days out of the year or more like Seattle.

Back to baskeetball.

Hedo drops 45 on the Raptors and Nash gets 23 assists in only 10 minutes. Yes sir!

And we thought getting out rebounded by 11 was bad.
