Due to their streaky, up tempo style of play, the Suns give up leads as easily as they can climb back from large deficits.

Still can't get over this game, even though it was quite a long time ago. I dont know why Nash and Hill got so many minutes. Its as if Gentry does not have trust in his bench anymore.

The suns just ran out of gas last night, the way I see it is this is Gentry's fault. I don't care how Dragic is playing leave him out there cuz there's no way Nash is gonna play 19 minutes straight and not be completely out of energy by the beginning of ot. People blaming Richardson missing the freethrow are clowns, the fact that they let an easy backdoor cut by Rose with like 3 secs to play shows how tired they were. These are games they have to win cuz when they go on the road, even to the Clippers later this week, it's gonna be even tougher.

Tastic nailed it - how do you lose this? The league ought to investigate it ...

My only thoughts in the cold light of morning are that, last year our bench could come in and hold or increase a lead - we don't have that this year. I don't think we played our tough defensive group last night - Childress, Dragic, Duds etc

Frye continues to do good things - posting up, boarding and generally fighting inside. The guy needs help though - agree that Turk gave it solid effort but he just got tossed around. He does look more and more a part of the team.

At one point when we got a great stop near the end of the 4th, I thought - wow , this might be where the team turns around and decides that no-one scores easy baskets against them. Nope - but maybe losing this one will encourage some soul-searching, both for the players and the FO. And as much as i think Gentry is a great coach, I agree a lot of this one is on him, unless there's something we don't know

I just don't understand letting the Not Quite Over The Hill Gang build up a 23 point lead and then leaving them in while they lose it.

Ah well - sod it. Pound the old Budweiser and go get them tomorrow. Enjoy your turkey, guys

Unfortunately I think there will be a knee jerk reaction to this loss. :( By the way, I am at the airport in PHX on my way back to Cali, and wearing my Suns gear. I am using my iPad for the first time. Frickin SW airlines gave my wife an A29 boarding spot, and gave me a B46, WTF!

THe worst part of last night, was me talking crap to family from CHI, and then having them have the last laugh. This team needs more than soul searching. They need to grow a pair.

That's exactly what I was thinking - we should start to foul hard every possession and then call this team the Phoenix Sons - standing for S.O.B.'s

HAHA - nah, that's just not our style - but we are really lacking some mental toughness and ballsy leadership, like we had when Raja was still great. Nash leads our offense but he lacks this certain swagger to push his teammates and get them pumped - we could really use one player like that.
Prediction for this season: Spurs beat Heat 4:2 in the finals (the revenge of Pop)
I don't like it, but it is highly possible this season with IND and OKC struggling

Return to Phoenix Suns
