While not financially committing to a mediocre PF is smart, I don't get why they were in a hurry to financially commit to Turkoglu, Warrick, Frye and Childress but won't commit money to the team's most obvious need. If Babby is unwilling to trade Turkoglu because of personal ties, regardless of whether or not the trade helps the team, he needs to be fired immediately. Unfortunately that's never gonna happen. The typical homer will say "Give Turkoglu time!" but it was clear very quickly he's a terrible fit for this team and isn't worth his contract, if Babby is a professional who is thinking about the Suns' interests, he should be listening to Hedo offers with open ears.

Two rays of sunshine there.....

the rinse and the repeater

Is it entirely impossible to think that Hedu is more valuable than Barbasoso ? Ya'll are fixated on TGlu being our permanent PF.

the big issue is, that we have quality sf dudley, chll, hill and hedo. at least one of chill, hedo or tur signings is useless no matter if we have a decent big pf or not.

I would bet any money that, around the league, coaches and GMs still believe Turk is a very effective player who a) went to the wrong team/wrong system when he signed in TO and b) went to a somewhat better system in PHX but is suffering because he's superfluous with Nash on the floor and there's a logjam at the SF postion, and further, he's not even close to being able to play the 4

in sum, he's still the same guy they loved in Orlando, and could help most of their teams.
That's a hell of a lot more than they would say about Barbs, god love the little guy.

How does it feel to have your English corrected by an Asian?

Hang your head in shame mate.

lol

But we did get Dudley on a bargain deal, that's the whole point of what I said. Since we had the ability to get Dudley on a bargain deal, we should be able to do the same for Dragic.

By "could've gotten" it infers that we did actually sign Dudley to a bargain deal. "Could've gotten implies that because we got Dudley at a bargain deal, we could hypothetically get Dragic at a bargain deal too.

There are two meanings of "could've gotten here.'
1." The coulve gotte" meaning that we didnt get Dudley at a bargain deal, and we are now regretting it...

2. We did get Dudley at a bargain deal, and using that as a measurement, we could get Dragic at a bargain deal too.

I am implying the latter

+1 hedo was better @ san antoni and orlando because of the good cast which matched his skills well. our group is nothing near that. we have a major ball handler and we have no decent big like howard or duncan.
