we have nothing. i repeat nothing going under the basket. no inside play so our outside shooting is what we rely on. thats what you get when you hire an agent in your fo. of course he will give large money to his former clients.

The real targets at PF are Brand, Smith, Thompson, Jamison and if we're hella lucky Love.

After he did a decent job on Granger, it was surprising to not see him tried on Gay. Why the heck did Gentry gas out our older guys in the Portland game (and lose), and not try other weapons in our arsenal? When we play these young teams, we will continue to struggle unless we play our young guys more. Why is that so hard for Gentry to figure out?

I say start him
Clark/Hakim/Lawal as our 4's
Barron/Frye/Clark/JRich/Nash
Let him get used to playing with nash - he'd be the only PNR option but I still have hopes barron will settle down. I think a lot of his troubles with gimmes are just nerves. He's still overexcited out there
It's time to stop attempting to work things out so all deserving players get minutes - find two units that work well and stick with them

7 defensive boards...
7 F$%^ING DEFENSIVE BOARDS!!!!!!
Man I already miss him. He's really been showing us why NYK was willing to pay him 100 million dollars lately. I heard he even started contesting shot. Though still suck as a 1-on-1 post defensive player, he seemed to be a lot better on the help defense.
We on the other hand have Hedoesn't as our PF. WTF?
How long did it take us to realize going all wing players won't work? The moment of signing.
How long did it take Alvin to realize going all wing players won't work? After playing a quarter of a season.
You don't have the right to be cheap and be winning games unless your team is ran by Dell Demps, RC Buford or Sam Presti. It's such a shame to watch our arch nemesis willing to go over the cap to re-sign a player they feel can contribute while we for the first time stayed under the luxury tax region after making it to the WCF the previous season. Now they're having (well-deserved) wins and we're staying mediocre.
It's all just a f---ing business.
And at this point, if you're telling me we're trading Hedoesn't for Drew Gooden, I'll be more than satisfied. I'm that desperate.

Where does that leave Grant?
I instead of playing Barron at PF, give Clark the start at PF. He is longer, more athletic and has higher potential. Like you said, he also would benefit by playing next to Nash.
Frye/Clark/Hill/J-RIch/Nash
Warrick (Eeekkk!)/Hedo/Childress/Dudley/Dragic
But fantasy aside, I think it will be hard for Clark to get time even of we do the Kings trade. It is more realistic that Clark will be in the rotation next season.

Everyone knows Stoudemire is worth 15-16 Million for the next 2 seasons.... its about the seasons after that that worried the Suns and the Knicks took a gamble on.
Da_Reel_Kboy wrote:Wow you really managed to mess up the quotes didnt you?Got a bit confusing for me. Not to worry though.
I would still start Grant and if he's not firing after 5 minutes, take him out. He's still got his start.
I think if we limit Grant and Steve's minutes to about 25-30 a night, we will have enough for everyone.
It's true that this roster is a nightmare. Luckily, I doubt we'll stay pat for too long. Something has to down down soon.
