I have soft spot for the Knicks going back to the Willis/Dave D/Clyde era. Great to see Amar'e doing so well there. How's Walker this year? - love that guy

Amare is a class act. The dude really has become a leader. He turned this organization around. If he didn't have faulty knees/eye, I could see phx rolling with him for 5 more years. As far as walker goes, he def has talent but can't seem to crack the rotation. Same goes for AR.

On another note, I am happy to see you guys are a reasonable bunch of dudes. If someone from another board were to come to the Knicks board you would be greeted with gtfo and " stop trolling". Some of those dudes just can't have a discussion.

Amar'e would absolutely be with the Suns for his entire career if not for the knees/eye thing. I'm a former Knicks fan, having grown up in CT during the Ewing era. Fell out of touch with basketball for a long time and repicked it up because of Nash and the style of play in PHX. I don't live in CT anymore, but it would have been nice to see Amar'e play on MSG every game instead of having to watch crappy internet feeds.

The thing about Dragic is, he may be a back-up but the only reason is because he has a top 3 PG ahead of him, so you're paying based on what he could do when he's given the minutes instead of his current numbers.

5/35 seems reasonable.

Right on my friend! Could not agree more. 5 years 35 million is generous and the exact right amount for Goran. A penny more is a pure waste. If he can prove himself to be more than ordinary and a role player, THEN he would be legitimate and eligible to sign a bigger contract.
